never notts forest
Shut up
the fuck are they?
IKR ITS NOTTINGHAM FOREST
One of the most interesting football clubs in England - and I am biased being a Forest fan ! Put it this way, I reckon 80 out of 92 clubs would trade THeir history to have one like Forest's By any measure, we are a big club - so glad to be back in the PL, where we belong.
Always Nottingham Forest or just forest!
You wouldn't believe how many people I have to tell that to. When they not footy fans I tells just say Forest
Never ever Notts. That’s how to insult a Forest fan.
Great video, just Forest will do
Im Amazed They Were First Football Club to Wear Red & White Which Caused to Creation of More Red & White Clubs Like Arsenal & Liverpool
Liverpool werent a red and white club, they played in all red.
The 2-3-5 formation became obsolete in 1925, when the Offside Law was amended. The 'Centre Half' became the 'Centre Back' although in GB the shirt number remained 5. Elsewhere, the Centre Back wore 3 and the left back 4.
You Pies! It doesn’t matter how many trophies forest have won over the years it still won’t change the fact that they’ll always be county’s little sister
😂😂😂
Forever in our shadow COYR
@@alanmtbuk be quiet little girl
Bit of an inccuracy in the 'City Ground' stuff. Forest's home at the time of Nottingham gaining city status was called the 'Town Ground' and was located across the river (within the city boundary) not far from Meadow Lane and was renamed 'The City Ground' for a very short period of time before they moved across the river to their current home (ironically outside of the city boundary) but they decided to keep the name 'City Ground'.
Its just Forest. Good video though 🔴🌳😊
First football club to play in Red, maybe ever in all of sports. At least of any sports team still in existence, but I am not 100% sure.
Notts forest is classed as derogatory by true followers of NFFC 🔴⚪🌳
"The Garibaldi We wear with pride, was made in 1865!"
COYR 🔴 ⚪ 👌 🏹
If you say the word Notts in that sentence infront of me you will get a broken jaw
Wouldn't it annoy County fans more?
@bigfootballclubs no they will call us by our proper name. And they are Notts Co. And not COUNTY. As we are have our names and we have names you don't call us
You’re hard
Our official nickname has always been "The Reds" never the tricky trees or anything else. Please get your facts right
Show me the s in Nottingham,
notts relates to the pies Notts (Nottinghamshire) County
Not the City Nottingham Forest
as mentioned in the video Nottingham was originally Snottingaham named after Snotta, with "inga-ham" meaning belonging to. this just eventually evolved over many centuries into Nottingham
That's right. Historic.
Not as historic as county though
Its Nottingham Forest or Forest... With GENUINE FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS.....
Some nice bits of history there, but you dropped a clanger with that last question!!!!! NOTTINGHAM Forest (who, incidentally, play their games in West Bridgford, just outside the city) but NOTTS County, who do actually play in the city. Never, ever liked the name Tricky Trees. No idea where it came from, doubt it was made up in Nottingham. Forest or Reds is better.
The name comes from the scousers I believe
Tricky Trees came from the media and television broadcasting at the time of the European success. When the panini sticker books came out in the 80's there was a sticker with the nickname the Foresters that was known back then aswel and the sticker they used is my profile pic 🤷🏻♂️🔴🌳
Nottingham Forest
that is all.
DO NOT CALL NOTTINGHAM FOREST NOTTS FOREST
"Do you call the club Nottingham or Notts?"
Are you trying to start a riot?
Maybe a bit
No just a youtube thread ;)
Won more UCLs than those North London bottlejobs known as Arsenal and Spurs.
Notts County and Nottingham or Nott'm Forest, Notts Forest simply doesn't make any sense.
Now do Barnet❤
I'd love to. What makes them a big club?
Oh I’m sorry. Thought you were being sarcastic when you did Forest. Big club ? What makes Forest a big club? My team Watford arguably 🇧🇪 are the same size club than Forest if you are talking about the last 20 years . League position and all that. I know we have never won F all . But that lot from up the road ( Luton) won a league cup back in the day. I wouldn’t call them a Big club .
@@lucaschapman2188still won more than Watford and you'll never ever be as big as Forest. We're one of Europe's elite clubs (success in Europe) and a global brand Watford have Reg Dwight!!! 😂😂
We had Roy Dwight who helped win us the Fa cup :) @@forestranger5408
King Snot lol
We are the people of snott and proud me duck
It’s Nottingham, definitely, Notts is on the other side of the Trent.
No no it's Notts on the Forest side and Nottingham on the county side of the trent
So really its Notts Forest and Nottingahm County (I can't even type that without wincing)
@@glo0115 I wasn’t on about the map so much I was on about the actual name.
Forest only any1 that says notts forest don't know jack shite
Theyre not a big club. Their fan base size base is appalling
