I think you're the most obsessed with Brian May (it terms of guitars of course) on the Internet! ) Love your vids, watching and re-watching many of your Queen / LZ tutorials and tips. Great content. Thank you.
So glad to see you posting again! Hoping you and the family are well...and the new look (i.e the mustache/beard are very attractive, lol! Happy Spring, @James Rundle!!
Thanks James! You are really working hard to share your knowledge of the RS. Very much appreciated! I still don't get that nice 'fat' tone and a great guitar player can do it at my guitar, so it is me:-(. Do you have a video of how to attack the strings to get that full sound? I use a 6 pence but it still sounds way too clean. Couldn't find it in your long range of video's....but there are so many that i might have overlooked that one. If not it might be a good item for a new video:-). Thanks for all your work!
Hey james, I just got a red special, and i was curious about the tremolo arm, is it supposed to just slide in and out of the tremolo? Or is it supposed to just stay in place
ohh if i wasnt born in Brazil id buy a Red Special for me, it's so cool to understand more of how it makes those iconic sounds i do wonder what is the configuration Brian most used on live shows, i know he has one but i can't remember which
It’s interesting how a lot of older guitars like Burns had selector switches. But the popularity of the Strat seemed to take over and make the 5 way switch almost standard.
Hi James, great to see you back in my feed again. Hope all is well with you and the family. Rock on. Ian
Thanks, you too!
Just the video I have been looking for after recently buying a red special thanks james 👍
Hope you enjoy playing your new guitar 😊

I honestly feel like the individual switches are so much more intuitive than the traditional pickup selector switch.
It’s interesting how a lot of older guitars like Burns had selector switches. But the popularity of the Strat seemed to take over and make the 5 way switch almost standard.
Yeah, probably cheaper :[
Hey i have the bm-75 deluxe which doesnt have a out of phase switch. Can i still get the screamy sound out of it?
There’s a upgrade you can do to get the out of phase guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/9624/harley-benton-series-parallel-mod
How come 6ou stopped using a pick?
Depends what I’m playing. I like using my fingers mostly.
Brian May uses fingers more than people realise. Not always a sixpence
