I cant afford the Chanel DAd sandals but I have a pair of pink platform Birks that I love! I rock them all summer! My mules not Bottega but dupes by Jeffrey Campbell! I picked up a few from Nordstrom. I did splurge on a pair of Gucci sandals. They are coming this week! I love your energy around fashion!!!!

It's so crazy because when a new line of Tevas first came out a few years ago (and they were doing a sort of "rebrand" to reach a new audience), my editor peers and I did a piece on how "ugly" they were. We each had different perspectives on why. Now versions of "dad sandals" or "women's hiking sandals" and of course, Tevas, are super-chic. I LOVE them. Crazy how seeing them styled and remolded in different ways changes perceptions.

You know, sometimes and outfit can be too much of one style ex: too romantic or too feminine and sometimes you need that accessories to counter act it like a dad sandal or a combat boot.

Def keep my shoes in boxes as well. They do take up more space. But they def last longer. Good if you your wardrobe is an investment aka you spend your money and want it to take you far. I have some shoes from 5 years ago.

I already have 2 pair of the JW Anderson chain mules (cream and chocolate) but I just saw the caramel pair on the website and I NEED THEM! I also want the black chain slides for the summer. I received SO MANY compliments on the shoes. They make a statement! I also have my eyes on a pair of the Valentino flats, the Hermes Oran sandals, and a pair of the BV pumps! I'm really a 5'8" tomboy in makeup so I LOVE wearing sneakers during the summer however I'm looking forward to buying these chic flats! I'm learning that accessories make your outfits look high-end!
Don't you love them!!! It's crazy, but they are amazing shoes! Yes, it's all about the accessories, that is why I don't bother buying premium designer clothing, you just don't have to unless you absolutely, absolutely LOVE!

The Bottega chocolate and Amina snakeskin are my fave! Are you a U.S. size 11? I’m trying to get into luxury, but most places don’t have the size to try in store. I have long narrow feet and need to try on before I spend that kind of money. I don’t have the luxury of sizing down in shoes with the sizing being all over the place with these brands.
Hey, I am a size 11 US. I would say to go to Saks or Nordstrom and try on a few different designer to get an idea of what sizes work best. Also, try ordering a pair from Nordstrom to try-on. I tried the Roman studs at my local store in my size and they feel like my foot wants to come out, I think the issue is with the lack of back support not the size. Pass for me even though I loved the look.
