I have watched a lot of these videos and I am trying to get into this art form and I really love the way you explained it. I was struggling with all the numbers when other people tried to explain it. But you simplified it. Thank you

Your website, well, it sucks when it comes to finding "what machine we use to do it". I couldn't find it. Is it even on the website?

I would watch you cut a stone for 8 hours! You had more great information in your video than in any other video I have found. Generally there is not enough detail given. I hope you do more videos. I specifically would love to understand better how to use the fine tuning when setting up the depth for each facet so that the you can use the gauge's '0' as a stop point.
    Thank you!

It is an ok entry level machine. If you are serious about cutting I would spend a little bit more and go with a GemMaster or similar

It cost less than $2000 Australia dollars. Very reasonable machine. The disks can be changed yes. It is a Tom Thumb faceting machine

Would you recommend the tomb thumb faceting machine? Does it have any significant problems? I'm used to faceting on a gemmasta but don't want to fork out the 4000 AUD for it.

I've had nothing but problems with my Tom Thumb. Initially inoperable the machine had to be completely rewired so as to have power. That was the first six months. Next, a problem you don't mention because you have some miracle way of setting the angle, the angle does not set. You put yours at 42. If I did so the wheel just automatically collapses. There are no tightening mechanisms for it. I'm frustrated beyond belief and rueing not having saved up for a GemMaster.

Auto Focus is USELESS. And you should turn your Notifications and Rings OFF.
Better yet, buy a real camera.
