You don't share too much! Please continue sharing with us your stories and life! So to sum up my thoughts on your experience with your partners father...you're absolutely not wrong. My father was a gruff just like that man. And he drove me away the same way. People like you and me when we're faced with people like that, we can't get away from them fast enough. We shut down. It sounds like he needs someone to stand up to him and challenge him with his abrasiveness. My sister in law had the balls to talk back to my dad and I wished so badly I knew how to do that. It sounds like your partner took the brunt of his verbal abuse all his life. I love you Paige Turner!

I love your story time videos and I don't think you overshare. Would you consider doing storytime about your first marriage? Asking this as once divorced too. I am So Deeply Sorry Paige!! I actually found this video very helpful and relatable because I reached the breaking point with my aunt today and I can definitely relate to you on this! My family is very controlling and overbearing and my aunt said something to me today and I am just at my wits end with her after years and years of her verbal abuse and her way or the highway attitude! There is Absolutely nothing wrong with cutting off ties with people that repeatedly try to make you feel bad about yourself. I know that it is hard to distance yourself from people that you have known for years but you have to do what feels right and people should surround themselves with people that are positive and that make you feel good about yourself! We all have our bad days and moments when we get upset and probably say things that we don't always mean but if someone makes you feel bad repeatedly over and again then maybe it's time to reexamine the situation and the relationship with the person and if you feel like you need to distance yourself from their negative energy, there is Absolutely Nothing Wrong with distancing or cutting off ties with that person!! I lived with my aunt and my grandmother when I was a teenager because my mother didn't want me anymore and I can relate to you on how it is hard to cut off contact and communication with people especially family who should be the most understanding and compassionate people in a person's life but unfortunately a lot of times, they are not. You are a Good person Paige and You Can Always talk to us!! I think you are a very Strong and Sweet person and you have tons of fans that just love and adore you!! You want to know what I think… I think you are a very sweet, sensible, deserving of love woman who tries to go out of your way to give instead of take. If someone, it doesnt who, treats you poorly and has negative things to say about you and your relationship, then those type of people are not deserving of your company and presence. I subscribed to you about a week or so ago, and boy.. am I glad I did. You have made me fall asleep basically every single night for a week! I could try, the funny thing is I can barely whisper sometimes…lol. I am hard of hearing, and wear hearing aids, so the inaudible part is hard for me because I can’t even hear my own self talk.
