When I was in high school (early 2000’s), I was made fun of for how I dressed and my long “mop top” afro. Bands like TEN, Hot Hot Heat, The Strokes, etc. made me feel accepted and not alone in what I thought was cool and will always be a huge part of my life. Emo kid at heart. ❤
So much great music from the late 90s early 2000s now lies almost totally forgotten. So sad to see the kids today listening to such garbage when all these great bands are lying in wait for them to be rediscovered.
