But the Natwarlal we are talking about had not just one but about 52 names. With the help of these different names, he committed fraud at different places. Natwarlal was also not his real name. His real name was Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava. Mithilesh alias Natwarlal was born in 1912 in Jiradei, Siwan district of Bihar. The same Jiradei which is also the birthplace of the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. It was the skill of Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava alias Natwarlal that he performed such notorious acts. He was Indi's most notorious conman.
Natwarlal had sold Taj Mahal thrice, Red Fort twice, Parliament once and even Rashtrapati Bhavan once.
How and when did Natwarlal died? Natwarlal was last seen in 1996 when he escaped from police custody in Delhi. Later in 2009, it was told by the family that Natwarlal had died and his last rites were performed in Ranchi.

मिथिलेश उर्फ नटवरलाल का जन्म 1912 में बिहार के सिवान जिले के जिरादेई में हुआ था। वही जीरादेई जो भारत के पहले राष्ट्रपति डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद की जन्मस्थली है। मिथिलेश कुमार श्रीवास्तव उर्फ नटवरलाल का ये हुनर ही था कि उसने ऐसे हैरान करने वाले कारनामे किए। नटवरलाल ने तीन बार ताजमहल, दो बार लाल किला, एक बार संसद और एक बार राष्ट्रपति भवन तक को बेच डाला था।
नटवरलाल की मृत्यु कैसे और कब हुई? नटवरलाल को आखिरी बार 1996 में देखा गया जब वो दिल्ली में पुलिस की गिरफ्त से भागा था। बाद में 2009 में परिवार वालों की ओर से बताया गया कि नटवरलाल की मृत्यु हो गई है और रांची में उसका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया है।
