That’s a fact. Him doing what he does now I more impressive tho because of that reason.. the 3 ball is so common now and he still doing what he was doing at a elite level.. maybe even better
@@flvckavelidefinitely better, he set a record for most average 3PM in 2016 with like 4, now he averages 5. I noticed he shot more midranges then. Growing up watching him in the bay, i always wondered what happened to his midrange game. He definitely can still shoot it, just doesn’t. Guess he doesn’t think its worth it since his percentage is so good from 3
Yep, he shoots just like Dell and Seth Curry here. You can tell they spent a lot of time in the driveway/gym working together, then in like 2015 he started bringing he ball in front of his eye and flicking the wrist more on the followthrough instead of extending it outward. If you watch Kyrie Irving this season, you'll notice he changed his form similarly (probably developed while he sat protesting vaccination), which I think coincides with Kyrie's percentage and volume being as high as they've been in his career.
@@christianburrell28 The video proof is just watching Kyrie in his Cavs years and watching him in BK this year. His form is definitely different. Less effort, more efficient. I think most great shooters go through these types of changes, really. Look at MJs mid range form with the leg kick and the high jump vs the relaxes J later when he became one of the best ever from mid. LeBron changed too.
No, it's not. People stopped talking about it because he hit 400 threes a couple years later in what was the greatest shooting season of all time. It's not slept on, it's just overshadowed.
While he uses his energy I believe better and his experience makes the game easier for him currently his skill set is as high here than ever he just has a better team now but he was a blue chip player even back a decade ago which is pretty crazy
yeah, I was just thinking that if he never got hurt those two years, he would've been good a longer time ago. He has always been good, he just got polished and more athletic with better usage and system!
Because this was just a very good season, and he hit 400 threes in 2015, which was the best shooting season ever. And because he didn't destroy everyone in the playoffs like he did in other seasons. And because he was even better the following year, and the year after, and the year after.
As a non Warriors fan the first time I heard of Steph Curry was when he dropped 54 on my Knicks in 2013.. Ive been a fan of him since . Pretty sure he didn’t even make the all star team that season
yeah his midrange is underrated cuz of his shooting honestly after watching Curry for so long he should implement the midrange more often since they run him off the three so much more now
This was the year that Steph absolutely put in the WORK during the offseason his game elevated to a whole other level in 12-13.
Back then we all thought KD is the guy who can rival Lebron, who knew it was this guy

That's why his haters grow because of those bronsexuals 🤣🤣
Nobody talkin about how much MORE time and space to shoot he had back then. Shooting skill on a complete another level now

Gotta love the slight difference in his form

Someone truly should have been made a video like this such a good idea to see his shot changer over his nba career
His stroke is definitely smoother today than before
Most Underrated Year of Curry Good Vid🔥
Underrated by whom? Literally everyone knows this is the season he became a star, and nobody has ever said otherwise. Go look up the word underrated.
@@ninjachannel007 didn't make the all star team. So yea it can be called underrated.
This season so slept on.

He used to be quick. This is the forgotten season
Back when Curry flurries just barely kept Golden State in the game. Nowadays they go up 20 because of their killer defense.
Thx for this vid

At this age Luka Doncic is already in conference Finals
Whats the point in that?

At this age steph curry was in the semifinals against the spurs. So what’s your point actually?
