There are 2 types of Sleep Token fans: Those who don't know what their identities are, and those who do know and have intentionally and willingly forgotten as a way to respect the members, keep the magic alive, and enjoy the experience for what it is. This band creates healing music, and that is EXACTLY what I hear with each track, even the heavy ones.
Well put. I myself am in that latter group but I keep what I know to myself out of respect. While I think they deserve recognition for the insane amount of sheer talent I understand their wish to remain anonymous and I respect it, them and their wish to focus on their fantastic music.

This song has a lot of lyrical callbacks to many of their earlier songs, with the ending being a direct callback to 'The Night Does Not Belong To God'; the first song on their first ever album! This song is a very emotional ending to the recent album imo

So to answer some questions you had, Vessel, the lead singer composes all of the music with the drummer. He also plays the piano live. The reason they are anonymous is because they want it to be all about the music and not who created it! They also consider themselves in a sense, a worship band
To clarify further, II just does everything with percussion, while Vessel composes and plays all of the other instruments for the studio recordings. He and one other also do all of the production for their records too. TLDR The man is MASSIVELY talented.
Only two musicians are credited on this album. Vessel - all vocals, guitars, bass, piano & keyboards, and II - all drums and percussions. Vessel is also credited with production along with Carl Bown. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

“i know nothing about this band other than the fact that they put out bangin music.” That’s exactly the point! that’s essentially why they’re anonymous the way they are, they want people to focus solely on their music or “offerings”, saying who they are isn’t nearly as important as what they want to share with us. They said this in their only interview they ever gave. As for who plays piano, the singer Vessel is pretty much doing everything aside from the drums, which are vessel ii’s realm. They’re both crazy talented musicians, i’m glad you’re enjoying their stuff!
Vessel plays everything except drums. The songs are written by and done by Vessel and II who plays drums/percussion, then III and IV joined as touring members playing guitar and bass but they’re basically full members now. They’re anon by choice as Vessel wants everything to be about the music and not what they look like. I know who they all are but I won’t tell anyone out of respect for them and the fans 🖤worship🖤

I think Vessel is incredibly shy and introvert and hurt so much he wanted to hide. He hid in the music and when it came to performing, he just carried on hiding…
I'm the type to just naturally want to solve the mystery, so yeah, I did the research, and honestly it deepened the enjoyment for me. At the same time, I get why they're doing the anonymous thing, so of course I wouldn't go out of my way to tell someone who didn't want to know. That'd be...weird 😄
