One of my all time favorite Belinda tracks. All her albums are awesome & she has more talent in her little finger than all the artists in the charts today! Back in the 80s & early 90s, there was no x-factor, no talent shows, it was hard graft all the way. She worked her ass off to get successful & it paid off. Belinda is the greatest! She's ultra sexy too!
I bought the Life Your Live Be Free album in 1991/1992 and love it! I had not idea that there was a video for this song! And such a great one! I am speechless!!!!!!!!! It's really time for a complete "solo" Belinda DVD compilation of all her singles! I would play it nonstop! She is so beautiful and the catchy tunes just blow me away! A legend! With more support from her record company and minus her struggles with addiction she could have been as big as Madonna! Just reading her memoir...X
This is my personal favorite black & white music video I've ever seen. And the song is very cool - should have been released as a single. I love the atmosphere of this video - dark, mysterious, deep, emotional....reminds me some old Horror/Thriller movies plus angelic Belinda's voice. What's not to like
BEST VIDEO OF BELINDAS CAREER! This would have been a hit in America if it had been released in the clubs. The guys hot, the video is genius. This song is Godhead. As is World of Love, Live your life be free, and Little black book. But they're the only ones from that record. Godhead meaning they're wellknown in the collective consciousness. At the time, I was unhappy with her going in this direction musically, but this is one hot track and a GREAT video.
Wow I had no idea there was an official video for this song before now. Its great! I think the album that this comes from "Live Your Life Be Free" is one of her best.
My favorite track of the album was you came out of nowhere was brilliant as we'll and should of been released as a single and half the world was good as well very catchy songs as well and you nothing without me was good as well totally underrated album of live your live be free her best album ever
This song rocks!! (The album version isn't good) but as a single it's brill. & best of all the luscious PATRICK MULDOON is in the video!!!! (*FAINT*) No wonder she's pleading insanity! I'm right there with her!!!
ian greenacre i plead insanity was ready for release in uk in spring of 1992 but virgin decided that the song was too negative for belinda, therfore was scrapped in uk.

BC's songs through the decades show her love of melody and harmony - just my impressions anyway. Wonderful stuff!

This video is psychedelic. I would also like to see a video for Emotional highway and You are nothing without me
shame we gotta get old :/ . in her day , best looking woman ever lived !
The Power!
I wonder if the director was a Hitchcock fan. Video reminds me of Spellbound and Salvador Dali's dream sequence :)

Weird yes. No wonder why Belinda considered her her rival during the 80s-90s, but I always considered Belinda the better artist.
Iplead insanity i 💖💖💖 you

Should've been, one her best tracks.
Did you know that Belinda was born (August 17, 1958) the day after Madonna (August 16, 1958)? Pretty weird, huh?
