Your right the catfish are monsters, I had to reel in at 10pm every night as they all come out and where I was fishing such shallow water you could see them wallowing across the surface in the moonlight

@@c.lsangling8802 they do pull hard, but are slimey slugs. We did alright, mirrors to 51lb 2oz and commons to just under 40lb. If you fancy a short journey val Dore is only 90 miles from calais and they have sturgeon that really bloody pull

Wow that's some time ago! Still full of fish now and some mega ones too. I dont think I will go back, been there twice now. Time to try somewhere different!
No worries lad I fished that swim about 6 years ago don’t remember it being too far I put a solo rod down in the entrance to the out of bounds area with just boilies had 9 in one night glad I made the move
