FYI, if you're using the NRC app for a treadmill run, you need to either hold the phone in your hand or somewhere on your body. NRC uses the accelerometer in your phone to gauge your pace, not your watch. I think if you start your NRC run from your Apple Watch, it will rely on your watch instead. Also, try doing your strength training before your runs. Strength training will help your runs immensely if you're able to take your workouts to failure or pretty close to it. If your muscles are already fatigued from running, you won't build as much strength and you might have been better off resting instead.
