But this wasn't the only evidence of abuse presented in court. The video only presents the evidence that insinuates he is innocent by only presenting the less-damning evidence. There were also previous SMS messages between him and his girlfriend where she's telling him she has to go to the hospital because her head still hurts and she needs stronger painkillers because she can't sleep and he's telling her she shouldn't go because there will be an investigation and he's guilt tripping her with "don't you love me, I will off myself, etc." and she tells him she will lie about it and say she just bumped her head.

I work in Law Enforcement and this makes me absolutely sick. He didn't shove her into the car, he gently sat her ass in there and ran away. According to the witness who was the driver of the vehicle she was the aggressor not him. If someone tries to take or steal your property you have the right to take it back. She said he struck her head trying to get HIS phone back and he denies it. So the witness denies Majors struck her in the head which I would think is the tie breaker. I believe Majors did everything in his power to get away from her and avoid the fight. He even called the Police after he found her passed out from partying with her injuries. I could agree based on the little bit we know about their relationship that it was toxic and if he really did throw a candle at her head that's wrong. But that's not what they were on trial for. IN THIS CASE, he did the right thing and I commend him for that. He literally ran for his life and she was a track star chasing after him. Clearly she wasn't afraid of him or behave like someone who was just assaulted. And so what if he told her he needs to be like this woman or that woman and called himself great. Women say stuff like that all the time and it's okay. "I'm a great woman. I'm too good for this etc." And for those who "never" argue or fight with their spouses or say stupid things they shouldn't have stayed tuned because it'll happen eventually if you're human. It's a shame and no wonder people get turned off when they have to deal with the law. The jury dropped the ball here big time.

My little brother went through this ! Sadly we don’t have a lot of $$ for a big time lawyer he’s being accused of grape! no evidence just her word and she’s admitted in messages that she’s sorry&just wants to be with him and have a child….😳I’m a woman myself and couldn’t even believe another woman would even do something like that…like…I went through all of his stuff…i wanted to know for sure my brother wasn’t a grapist before I bailed him out of jail…and sure enough…I saw everything I was looking for…the truth. The girl is sick. The DA IS BEGGING MY BRITHER TO PLEAD. He’s never been locked up or a criminal type of guy to play basketball after work and video games. No kids and helps me take care of our younger sisters since our dad abandoned us .Fortunately this past month we were able to get a lawyer it’s been drawn out 2 years with this psycho chick and she still calls him from blocked #rs saying she’ll tell more bs to the DA if he doesn’t do what she wants. She slashes his tires and sits outside of his apartment and will call him saying things like I see your light on who are you up there with called the police on her crazy asz and the police officers did come 2 male cops…and they laughed at him….like it was some big joke…this is a 25 year old young man’s life ….and the police didn’t care….I told my brother dude never ever mess with a chick when she starts telling you how she’s gotten other guys locked up on “accident “ he would tell me about all these problems she’s going through. I told him she sounded crazy ….And there were witnesses his 4 roommates ! Please MEN BE AWARE and careful. I know things can get out of hand just get your phone out and RECORD . That's a back and forth relationship. She messes with him. He messes with her. If you think he's innocent in this relationship you under the age of 12. The problem is he's a major star, he's black, and he's a man, he needs to realize that his relationships have to be legitimate. And, more importantly, don't send crazy text messages about how you going to kill yourself if she leaves you. And voice recordings. Bro, understand they read those in court. Wow. He was running away from her and called the police and the witnesses all said she attacked him. But they found him guilty? How? I figured he was going to get screwed over when he wasnt acquitted the first day of deliberations.

It’s so unbelievable, almost as if there were other, more persuasive pieces of evidence that the jury was privy to. It’s crazy how the random things that people say online aren’t taken into account in a court of law.

@@ronaldmcdonald1977 he didn't assault her, anyone with a functioning brain can see that. Her injuries were most likely caused when she fell at the club she went to after this incident.
This is classic case of white woman accused black man of a crime he didn't commit, and the black man gets railroaded by the system.
It's as american as apple pie.
