I noticed Mark more this ERA. Something seemed different about Mark . He definitely has more presence when he dances lately.
All SuperM members from NCT has gotten that extra something. I mean Mark was already a good dancer, but also after coming of age he is slowly building his artist persona more and more. Its interesting and I noticed that shift in his confidence too. Its nkt too much but just enough.
@@babylionssirenblack1595 Even his rapping seems to have leveled up a bit especially in Misfit. We all know how talented he is but I think he starting to more fully establish his artistic persona or has a better idea of the artist he wants to be. Mark was never one of my biases Prob because other members had a more clear stage personas or artistic identities. I love NCT 2020 Several members are shining differently or more brightly then before.
@@artistblue18 i am Leeom/Markzen and had my eye on him and Taeyong from the start so I am very well aware of how talented he is. Nut he did go through teenage awkwardness, as a rapper i had no doubt since Mad City. Misfit just showcases whats been there all along. He has his own signature bounce too. NcT however has a LOT of very charismatic members onstage. Im not a TyongF but Taeyong as an example has a very encompassing stage aura, even with that you have Yuta with the animalistic vibe too, among others. This era he just let himself go in a good a way, ans held back from blending in. Which means, that was a stylistic choice. Working with SuperM members clearly had a lot of advantages for the hoobaes thats why I pointed it out.
@@babylionssirenblack1595 Being part of SuperM has def helped Mark. He does seem to be maturing out of teenager awkwardness that was holding him back a bit. So I’m excited to see grow into his potential even more. He was already a good rapper/dance and some forget he can sing. It’s just great to see members get even better than before
@@artistblue18 he is very observant and is geuinenly interested in people. He also is artistically sensitive. I like how attunee he is to his members and sometimes in clips some of their teasing may have hirt him. He is emotionally mature and well adjusted. Im excited to see more of his growth.
i really can't explain it but jeno just suits 90's love's genre so perfectly, like the choreo was made for him 😭 his dance style just fits the genre sm and the way he dances here, he just naturally draws your eyes to watch him

Jeno is amazing dancer and performer but he's underappreciated even by his own fandom sometimes. Jeff as a professional performer would help ppl recognize and appreciate his talents more for sure
Yutas dancing is way too phenomenal, he doesn’t try and outshine the Center but when he’s in the center he takes over it so well and it just becomes the biggest highlight....
yes! i thought i was alone in my observation on yuta as a performer. i always think that in 127 both yuta and haechan, makes the performances more cohesive as a group but when given center, really shines.

I feel like SM encourages the stylistic differences in execution. To nurture the potential for more solo debuts later on. Plus I feel like this allows for the members to hit the moves with ease and be swaggy/exude personality compared to groups who do more robotic synchronization
Yup, SM has perfected the training ingrained to them. This is a good. Whata amazing is how they all mesh together.
It all makes sense now that I have noticed NCT does not primarily focus on robotic synchronized dance but their dances are complex, mechanical and includes intricate moves ... I always thought why but I also noticed that NCT is more individually strong group compared to many other groups as each member holds individually strong presence and each one of them is a master of certain area/areas. I also think that SM trained them in a way that in the future each one of them can individually hold themselves in the industry.
@@fantasiagirl8907 isn't it a joy to watch th whole group and whn u watch individual cams, their interpretation is different from each other but they blend so well. Plus, i can tell who ia who without seeing their faces, becausw each member has a distinct vibe. NCT just has this swag though, and a chill vibe almost. Their execution is top tier, making it look so easy.
As I watch their dance lately, the move and the beat is synchronise but everyone also has more free movement. It feels personalized and synchronize at the same time if it makes sense.

The team chemistry is lit. All are chill but so professional too, we have all the makings of a great team. Great dancers then ww have 2 vocalists and sub vocalists and several rappers too

Haechan's dancing is so good! Haechan has this smoothness and natural flow. Great facial expressions. He knows when and where to use his energy. They all dance really well in 90's Love and Work It comebacks!

Wow, I finally found appreciation for Jeno, and I like it. Thanks Jeff .. kinda needed that, I guess I'm getting tired because I feel people really slept on him. Maybe because people always thought that he is a visual and he has the impression that everyone must love him, so people didn't pay more attention to his talents or wanted to compliment his individually. But this boy seriously needs more appreciation like this. He is one of the best dancers on nct and the members admit that too. I've read that many people praise him for being one of the members who always shines at concerts because his aura always carries the audience. And remember, he's always trying to give the audience something new like doing acrobatics or even tearing his clothes lol. Not to mention the discussion about his duality and the title of master of expression that many people agree on. I really adore him.

*Jeno* : I like it when a powerful dance is controlled/contained. First of all, a song and a dance have to match for it the whole thing to come to life. When you can control your strength, even in small movements, the dance-line will look impressive.

90's Love is such a good and public-friendly song. It's unfortunate that it didn't receive the same love and appreciation as Make A Wish but well I hope NCT be proud of themselves because among KPOP retro/old-school vibe concept this year, 90's Love is definitely the most well-done track.
I think one of the reason why MAW exploded like that is also because of the hype of OT23. It is such a good song to introduce Resonance era too, for me, because of all 4 songs that they've promoted, MAW seems to have NCT identity sounds the most.
MAW has a killer catchy chorus and lots of unique part. The "I can do this all day" immediately in your head despite you like the song or not and the mv also really well done. The whistle is memorable and the dance is also unique from the beginning so people keep watching it.
Personally, I like both song cause 90's also has killer beat and awesome dance imo but I can see how people notice MAW more.
MAW is great in its own right. But I think as an entire package I loved 90's love just a little bit more. As Jeff said, it's an amazing combination of members. Their chemistry skyrocketed. Man...I really feel like 90's love would be that song that people in future will look back and say that it was one of the best. It feels like Simon Says in this aspect. I do think that MAW had a better MV to showcase though.
Jeno definitely went up on my bias list after 90’s love. He killed this concept.

Yuta's dancing needs to be highlighted more. He has a very distinctive different dance style. I noticed, in the group, most of the audience without proper knowledge about dancing really don't understand how beautifully Yuta dances. Unless they see his fancams.
Also SM not giving Yuta proper lines or screentime doesn't help as well.
Notice when Yuta moves, insane body control he has, his overall technique, balance over whole body - It's absolutely insane. He is literally one of the top 6 NCT dancers out there who can also sing amazingly, has one of the best visuals of kpop. Yuta is a complete package. Once you start seeing Yuta's fancams there is no going back.

About the diamond ace, Yuta, he is so suitable for work it & is such a versatile artist. Any sort of choreography you give him he nails it. Here it's more like a chilled groovy yet contrasting type of dancing and Yuta is so precise with his moves, not going offbeat or hitting too hard. His swag just makes his style glow out even more. This is what I love about his dancing. Also given the fact that he's had a knee & back injury yet he is this smooth makes me more amazed.

Yuta's dance style when he went calmer/elegant actually more harder to do. When we dance with exaggerate/aggressive moves, you can hide a lot of messiness. But yuta, he doesnt waste a single moves and does every moves correctly. And even in aggressive dance style, yuta's moves is still neat and clean, you can see it in resonance cherry bomb and black on black

So Jeno is a monster. I can see that. I never thought of him as Kai-like monster mostly because his power makes me think so much more of U-Know (TVXQ, I should try to check him out, he is well known for his vocal and dancing skills and his very passionate energy, he is a monster too, Jisung actually appears in one of his MV).
But I agree! He is a monster! He also has his own distinct style and he is mesmerising to watch. Some parts he does are just so satisfying to watch even when he isn't center (the starting part of the last chorus when they all do those sharp moves, him including his fingers' dance just adds something very pretty in the way he executes it, he is so detail) and his moves are so wide too (during the second chorus at the start he was able to go back next to Haechan so fast even if he was farer away than Ten).
The way I can even notice his power even when he is completely in the back and nearly completely hidden... he is an amazing dancer.
Anyway... let's move on (I can really talk about it all day).
Winwin, you mentioned how unfortunate it was he really don't have a center part. I agree, I want a choreo who can emphasise how a great dancer he is. But for this one... like you said, with Jeno and Ten complimenting each other so well and also Matk existence, I understand why those three have nearly 70% of the center time. It's just unfortunate for Winwin.

Work it. I love how you pointed out Hendery. He is really doing his best everyday to improve his skills as a dancer and rapper and I think his turning point was definitely Turn back Time/Bad Alive. What he shown there was amazing but her, in Work It he has a lot more of center part even if Ten is still in the unit (when we know WayV choreography tends to give most of the center position or emphasise more Ten and Lucas).
He shines so much in Work It, I feel so proud of him. All his efforts paid off!
Globally, I also really love how in NCT all the members have their own distinct style. It is always very interesting to me to watch those dance practice multiple times while focusing on different member. I also love how they all looks great as a unit (U/127/Dream/WayV) even if some members have some really different styles.

Yuta's style in work it is flexing his fluidity, graceful, smooth and elegang movements. While in resonance he is back to his sharp aggressive style while still being neat and clean, just like in black on black.

16:09 yesss I love that part too. My most favourite part in 90's love. The way he move in the mv was insane, the camera work in the mv make it look better. I don't know how to say it about his move, is it sharp(?) Idk I just love that part especially the part where "they look back"(?) The "euimi" part. It's so satisfying to see that part.

Hendery is an underrated dancer in NCT. When i see his dancing to a song (i forgot the song, the one that he posted on Weibo i think?), I think that he definitely need a center time and a chance to freestyle more
Actually Xiaojun mentioned in Wish 2020 Vlive that he watched NCT vids to study their dance so I guess he really prepared for resonance comeback. And Im so proud of Xiaojun he nailed his parts in MAW and Resonance.

I love work it’s choreo so much because of its playfulness! Hendery is definitely a standout and I think it’s amazing how yuta is still able to dance so smoothly and not miss a beat despite having an injury and never given time to heal. If he’s dancing this well now, I would love to see how he changes it up when he actually at full health!
