my wife was born with that and today she is 52 her first operation was at 14 (fontant) and in 2002 change this new generation fontant, remove the right valve -40% of the right side of the heart and with a pace maker and today still kiking ;)
I'm now 34. Has she had to have her fontan replaced? I ask because each time I go for my annual I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm sure your wife knows I'm referring to the heart outgrowing the fontan & needing a replacement of a heart transplant. I've been fortunate that I keep coming out ok but it would be nice to know the experience of someone older you know?
Sadly no I've the same problem with severe pulmonary stenosis I'm 19 years old right now surviving on homeopathy medicines and few allopathic medicines One surgery was done back in 2004 just to improve my oxygen levels for few years
I was born with that and forever have been very interested in it and this helped a lot!

Wow she was diagnosed LATE! I was diagnosed 2 days after I was born. It's really comforting to know there are people way older than me though!
