Not only is this video great, but can we please acknowledge how amazing the thumbnail is?!?! GOALS! But seriously, great job on this video. Definitely doesn't make me want to eat the standard American diet 😅
Cheerios actually have a higher glycemic index (this means they make your blood sugar spike faster) than if you just got out the sugar bowl and started spooning sugar into your mouth. And the "good breakfast" we were all indoctrinated to eat was a bowl of cereal like Cheerios WITH fruit on top, WITH a slice or three of white bread toast with margarine or preferably jam, WITH a giant glass of orange juice (which in the US is like syrup).
6.5$ for a coffee, bat crazy :D I feel bad when I have to buy lunch instead of prepping at home for 7 euros in Ireland. And its MOSTLY protein and made fresh.
Hopefully this will wake up, or help in some way anyone watching this that eats like that, and drinks sugary drinks. I'm in CA, and personally only know of a couple people that actually eat / drink like that, but they are single guys my age that never grew up. Though I'm sure in different regions of the country the " SAD " is more prevalent.
I don't think that 3g of added sugar per cup is a ton of sugar for oatmilk. Clearly it inherently has some carbs because of it's source but yeah, there's advantages and disadvantages to everything.
all the same hardware (FreeStyle Libre), differentiator is their software layer on top. I'm thinking about making a video. I've tried Levels, Veri, NutriSense, and Ultrahuman
You seem to be far too preoccupied with just sugar, while you're totally ignoring all the saturated fat and refined oils which will cause just as many if not more issues than the sugar when eaten in large amounts.
For this video the focus is blood sugar measured with a CGM (which actually measures interstitial blood glucose with a margin of error from actual blood sugar values). I want to make videos about these other topics as well but I also want to keep these videos light so the average person watches them & starts to think about their food. Not for experts :)
it depends but plently of plant milks are unsweetened, so idk why this guy made this generalization lol at least here in Europe, unsweetened oatmilk is the standard for coffee
I understand the goal of the video, but a low glucose response doesn't make a food 'healthy'... a banana might raise your blood sugar more than butter, but it doesn't mean the butter is more healthy. There's also no metabolic benefit to intermittent fasting... we have many, MANY studies showing this time and time again. You also compared a Clif bar to a chocolate bar... that is apples/oranges dude... the chocolate has TONS of saturated fats along with the sugar, which is far worse than a Clif Bar which yes, contains sugar, but also has some fiber and doesn't have all the saturated fat.

Those are not Honey Nut Cheerios…
💀😂
Moreover, regular cheerios is actually pretty healthy.
Kept saying Honey Nut Cheerios when it was regular Cheerios which is pretty good.
Dude, your material is ALWAYS interesting and informative.
Would have been nice to compare your typical “healthier” diet to the SAD diet. Just to see how the levels compare throughout the day.
oooo that's a great idea!
Starting off the day with a Shervin Shares video is actually nice
you just made my day Jacob!!
Most underrated yt channel atm. Keep up the good work :)

My goal is to inspire people to think about their health and just be a little healthier! So yes I’d agree with you!!
Can you share your glucose levels you had during that day?

Yes totally! There are other Oat Milks that are worse. This one was actually really good
Any thoughts/opinions on Veri vs. Levels. vs. other CGMs?

Hi Shervin. An idea for a video would be your review of Apple fitness+.
Love that!
where are you from orignally
So… apparently Cheerios aren’t the healthy option?!? Can’t believe General Mills would do that to me…
always trust big corporations, they have your money in mind... i mean health!!
Honey Nut Cheerios have a lot of added sugar but the regular Cheerios are okay.
@@ShervinSharesfrrr look at the vegetable oil scandal

Black coffee is rad. But you have to have halfway decent coffee, not the junk they serve at chain coffee shops.

wait oat milk is sugary?
Have you tasted real homemade oat milk vs store-bought ones? Store- bought ones are clearly highly processed, and yes with added sugar.

Great video. But Shervin you need to hold your spoon correctly. Not the best etiquette for a video. You can do better.
Sorry my parents missed the deadline for cotillion & I never got the right etiquette experience 😭 😭

Yes I should put quotes. I’m measuring “healthy”
This is ridiculous oat milk isn’t the new coka cola lol
