Update: I took Gordon out for an extended cruise last week (almost 100 miles) he is still running smooth as silk! It might be the slowest car in Georgia, but the old 305 is running right!
Didn’t work on my 2014 f-150 5.0, then like many things I remembered a trick I have used for years(I am 62), but blanked on was qt of transmission fluid. Almost immediately tick was gone
Hi. I'm happy that your vehicle is running like you want. Could you tell me where I can purchase this product? I tried Walmart, Auto Zone, O Reillys and Advance but no luck. 🤷🏾♂️
Hi sir. is it also solves vibration on your engine? My corolla's (2017) engine has a chronical vibration issue with this ticking noise and i would like to try this product. But my firstly fix purpose is to end that vibration problem. i would happy if you reply. Thx for video btw.
I would add engine clean to the oil. Run it for 50 miles or so, then drain the oil and get as much junk out as you can. Then I would put in new oil and add this.
I would think that it would not work as well for mechanical or solid lifters. A lifter tap with a hydraulic lifter is almost always caused by the plunger getting gummed up or seized in the lifter body. This creates a gap between the plunger and the push rod, causing the tap. I don't think that is the case with mechanical lifters. Obviously not the case with solids. Thanks for watching!
Wow that’s great! I just bought a 72 C10 from a relative that had parked it in 2011. I got it started and it sounds just like your Caprice sounded like. I’m gonna try that additive because the previous owner said it ran fine when parked it didn’t make that noise so hopefully that’ll help.
I want to try this in my ‘20 Silverado 4WD. I assume if a lifter needs to be replaced….this won’t fix it but rather put a bandaid on it? I want to try before I send her to the shop 😢
Hmmmm, I wouldn't think it would work as good. As my problem was definitely a stuck hydraulic lifter with the gap between the push rod and lifter cup. I would think a solid lifter tap would be more of a valve, spring, or push rod problem. I could be wrong tho!?
I put the same thing in my dodge 318 5.28 cylinder had a 300 and 5000 miles and within an hour I'll text is gone and it runs like I just got it when I bought it it had $132,000 and it seems like it runs better than when I bought it

Ordered and added to my Lexus and it made it quieter and smoother when starting. You are awesome thank you!!
Just added some to my Lexus too. Did u have to drive it for it to work or can I just rev it up?
That's awesome! Thanks for watching!
😮Gordon is sounding like a young Gordon again! Thanks for the review!
Thanks! And thanks for watching and the comment!
Ive used it once before on a nissan primera with a sr20 motor, as my mechanic suggested. It really worked.
I had a sticky lifter noise in my 2018 Silverado High Country and the liquimoly worked like a champ for me too
Sweet!! Thanks for watching!
Do you have to use it every oil change?
@@erikhamilton4866 no
My Buick century has the identical noise I'll have to grab some!
How'd it work for you? Thanks for the comment!
I added this to my small block 360 and it helped quite it down. I will be trying out more of their other stuff.
That is cool! What you got that 5.9L in?

How long does it last before the noise comes back!???
Good question
So far it is still running smooth! Through one oil change and about 500 miles.
Didn’t work on my 2014 f-150 5.0, then like many things I remembered a trick I have used for years(I am 62), but blanked on was qt of transmission fluid. Almost immediately tick was gone
is it safe? transmission oil is quite corrosive and can't handle heat well

I actually had to order it off Amazon. I think a two pack was 20 bucks.
auto trans oil got the same addictives.
Was the engine warm before adding?
Yes, I added it right after the clip of it running in the vid. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I used this on my girlfriend’s mouth, it quieted her down too!
😂
Ha ha ha ha ha 👍

Thanks for your time. I just ordered some.
Does it work for rod knock?

My yukon take 6 quarts. Should i add 5 quarts and one can of liquid Molly
Have you used it according to the recommded dosage ?
Is this a temporary fix that requires being added to every oil change?
So far I have not had to add any more. Old Gordon is still running smooth! Thanks for watching!
Use Ultimate Power Oil Additive, the best result ❤
Was it quiet from cold not just when warmed up?
Important considering a lot of lifter noise goes away after the engine is warm.
Should you change the oil after resolving the problem noise?
I don't think so. I did not. It's still running great!!
I would add engine clean to the oil. Run it for 50 miles or so, then drain the oil and get as much junk out as you can. Then I would put in new oil and add this.

Is the liquid Molly OK to use a 2006 Ford E350. I’m not sure if they have hydraulic lifters? I heard the Chevrolets do

I saw this sitting on the shelf at Napa today and I was skeptical so I came here…that’s seriously amazing.

Cool deal, how'd it work for you? Just curious?
When you put the hose in attached to funnel while it was running 😂😂
Frfr i was waiting for something to hit it
Oh yeah... going to buy some on the first
Thanks for sharing Jason!
You just need to replace everything with liqui moly oils, transmission, rear end gears and additives with all liquid moly products.
Do you leave it in or change oil after a certain amount of miles or hours on engine?
How much do you use?
That is just brilliant I'm going out tomorrow to buy a bottle or two
Im gonna try this on my 2000 Camaro ss . Ls1 piston slap or lifters idk yet but im gonna try it.
Dude, that’s flippin amazing!! Thank you bro, ima go grab some.
Thanks, Yeah I was shocked at the results! It's still running smooth! Thanks for watching!

Don’t you need to drain out some engine oil before adding the additive?
Not if you already burn enough oil between changes 😂
How long did it last? Think I'm going to try this on my 72 electra
Still running smooth, I have changed the oil since this vid. No issues.
How long did it last?

Quick question do i need. To put a thycker oil o keep my original 5w20. Do i put the liquid molly 1sth then my oil? Im going do. A oil change
I would run your standard oil. Put the liquimoly in first.
Brilliant ❤
so you leave in the liquid molly some people say you have to do an oil change after using it i dont no how true that is
Not sure, I've also heard to use it everytime you change it. So far it's still running great!!
@@crotalusjbc so basically just pore the liquid molly in the oil in leave it in there
Do has to be an older vechile I have a 2007 Infiniti q56 could I use it on it I got a lifter tick as well?
You dont have to do an oil change
Thewhat question is how long last is ityour?
