    Always love the videos, Man!!
I have only done one Rib roast for Christmas, a few years ago. It disappeared!!
Everyone told me it was too expensive to do again, but when you divide it up between how many people enjoy it, it is a very cheap gift to give to the entire family!
    Loved the video, Hussey!

Thanks so much, I appreciate it. I agree, it’s expensive, but getting it at the right time, you can really get them for cheap ($6.99-9.99lb) and that’s not bad really.

I've done rib roast a number of different ways. One thing I do is take the ribs off, and retie the roast, then season it heavily like you did. Another thing I do is use a pan to catch the drippings as the roast cooks. The gravy from those drippings is lit as the kids would say. My daughter loves the ribs, so she gets the ribs, and she's just as happy as could be.

I’ve done those ribs both ways and just found out it taste good either way. Haha

Great looking prime rib! Did you mention the temp of the smoker? And did you use any pellets or just the heat from the smoker??

    • @thehungryhussey

Went 250 degree and used a hardwood blend for pellets.

Looks amazing! Give me your thoughts about slicing into steaks and then searing on the Blackstone. Would that enhance the steak or just be an unnecessary step?

That’s a great way to add flavor and cook a little more for those that aren’t into rare or med rare.
