Hey CB, Starcraft 2 is one of my absolutely favorite games of all times, I too had purchased it with hard earned money and later they made it free, you know what I went ahead and bought the expansions ... yeah I am kinda dumb 😀 but I still love that game and play it occasionally..
8-Bit Armies also has 2 sister games (8-bit Hordes and 8-bit Invasions) and the stories of the three games intertwine. Also, if you own more than one of the three games you can use the factions and maps from any of the owned games in each other. So you can combine all three games into a massive fantasy x modern x sci-fi crossover. Invasions even introduces a "universe conquest" game mode where you build up 'planets' and use them to invade other planets. Each planet is a skirmish map from one of the three games and features an enemy faction from the game its from. So on one planet you could be fighting orcs with magic, then on another facing off against modern humans with tanks, then fighting against slimy space aliens. You build up bases and units on any planets you own, and use them to launch assaults into other planets. And there are AI empires doing the same thing from other ends of the map, so you have to also build up to defend your planets from invasion.
HANK YOU SO MUCH, I RAN INTO THIS GAME (8-bit Invaders) A FEW YEARS AGO AND COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT IT, I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT FOR A WHILE AND I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME, THANKS
@@ColdBeer in dont talk about the red chaos from last year. I mean now with the new improvement. The Trailer is about 2 months old. Its another game now. Look really fantastic. Take a look at it.
I've already seen some of your videos. For example you have videos about Retro Commander and Black Chain and other indies. But you think Red Chaos is amateurish. I don't want to interfere, but are you really serious? This shocked me a little when I just read it. especially from an RTS you tuber.@@ColdBeer
I am looking for a game with a more modern setting, like Command & Conquer: Generals or Zero Hour. Not set in the too-far future or in the too-far past. I am looking for something like Tom Clancy's EndWar or World in Conflict.
Back in day i loved c&c just bought the remasters and UC on steam yesterday but never played many other rts apart from AOE2, im looking for similar or easy games where can just build like open sandbox mode any have this included
Thanks, my absolute favorite type of game. Spent lots of time on the original Total Annihilation, which I still love. This is a wonderful compilation including some unfinished gems to be.
I still play Supreme Commander (yeah the first one) and still is my favorite RTS of all time. Supreme Commander 2 I'd say is good for multiplayer mostly though.
I wonder does the earth 2140,2150,2160 games belong here also? I mean earth 2140 was kinda like command and conquer while 2150 was more like warzone 2100
PA Titans has some of the most intense combat EVER. No tiny 30 unit squads fighting one medium brute, but rather batallions of ants batting colossal machines of pure decimation. Battling for control of planetary weapons to literally erase entire battlefields! Dont even get me started on the space combat!
please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been looking for this kind of game. I think it's around early 1990s up to early 2000s. It's similar to C&C Generals. All I can remember is a double barrel tank that can Act as howiters. If you point where to shoot, it will shoot their non stop. Only played the demo as kid, Ever since I couldn't find it.
Only game in that time period where a tank can act as a tank and as a Howitzer I know is StarCraft Brood War. But I doubt that you are searching for the game which is that famous. Maybe someone else will see this comment and helps you. Good luck
No drawn out intro, straight into the content. More channels should be like this, subbed.
Tempest Rising free demo version to play is not available on Steam as you pointed out.
This video is 9 months old, anything can happen in that time :>

Nothing dumb about helping developers by buying their game ;-)

Mmmh.
Why didnt you show ( red chaos - the strict order)
It looks amazing and brand new.
Well, it's not released, has no demo and so far looks very indie and slow paced.

Have a look of 2089 Space Divided
@@ratsherr4980 It looks like a great game, but it's too futuristic for my taste.
I love this kind of content 💖🔆🤪

awesome, thanks.
SC2 forever!
I LOVE RTS GAMES LIKE C&C .... THANKS SO MUCH!!!
One of the new RTS to watch, currently in Early Access, is 2089-Space Divided, from a German indie studio. It's already a lot of fun
Thanks, my absolute favorite type of game. Spent lots of time on the original Total Annihilation, which I still love. This is a wonderful compilation including some unfinished gems to be.
Another upcoming game which looks to bring back the C&C formula is D.O.R.F which looks pretty good though seems rather far from release.
I have a list of upcoming RTS like C&C and StarCraft, it contains about 17 games by now :) I will make a video about them soon
2089 Space Divided is a new RTS on Steam im EA

Some of the best RTS’s from back in the day! Warzone 2100 I had on Ps1 😂
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Nice vid. I think you've done War Selection dirty a bit. It's much more than a 'clone' of AoE - in fact it is arguably way better.

You should add Original War game!
check out iron harvest, last train home, and aliens dark descent
A bit a beta variant of COH2 imho.
the first one is such a cheap rip off.
Why cheap?
is your name really cold beer?
Yes. Cöld Bêêr
dawn of war 2 plays nothing like C&C wtf???
Are you this dramatic in your everyday life as well? :)
@@ColdBeerto be fair they have a point tho
He's not wrong though. DoW 2 is completely different to C&C.
