Since I'm mentally preparing myself for this week's ep I somehow managed to finish this one, jihyun said seokkyung is like a wounded bird and i get to feel her pain whenever I see the terror in her eyes, she was abused her whole life and believes violence is the solution. I was hoping for a character development but it might take longer knowing season3 is coming.
I'm glad she's getting more screen time tho she makes me wanna throw hands sometimes but I love jihyun.

I think she has the most hypocritical character in the drama. She was being abused by her dad but still used his power to manipulate other kids. Treated her mom so badly and after she died, she wanted her back. But her character is so strong that i pay more attention to the twins and seokrona ship. I want them to have a happy ending

The twins actually a really really important characters in this drama, just kill one of them in s3, be prepare cause the damage will come from every directions, one of the twins will revenge, suryeon too, maybe if dan tae not the twins killer he wouldn't stay still too because deep inside he care and love the twins but he express it in a wrong way, don't forget ae gyo's lover, at least the twins are the last things that left by her, maybe logan will help suryeon too since he want suryeon to be happy, even I will spam protest in every sbs platform, and since the name of the penthouse is hera palace, so the twins are artemis and apollo

Exactly and i somehow think su ryeon was responsible too. I mean even before knowing everything she never even bothered to check on seok kyung and seok hoon. According to what seok kyung said in first episode she never knew that they were abused she never came to their competition their results their field days they barely even shared one meal together. But then she claims she considers them her children too. It's not believable from their point. I am just happy seok kyung and seok hoon were there for each other
@@nidhi0251 nah it was all fine until she knew she wasn't her biological daughter lol. Seok kyung was too much like joo dante, obsessed with biological blood, cares about money and rich too much. Her love for her family changes like seasons, she even got distanced from seok hoon when she realized he's becoming a nice person so yeah there's really no excuse for her bad character, season 3 proved a lot of that.
@@shakira7301 Oh i think you took it wrong. Seok kyung was obviously at fault nothing can justify that but if you see this from seok kyung's perspective you can understand my point. Imagine having parents who don't care about you. Your father just care about your family reputation and you don't even see your mother every day just some times. It's harsh right. Seok kyung and seok hoon were abused but if Su ryeon never noticed it in so many years of her marriage with Dan tae then that means she never spend enough time with the seok hoon seok kyung to atleast know they were physically hurt. So what I am saying is her suddenly acting as a mother in first season was something like hypocritical like sh me doesn't have her own daughter ok now i will act like their mother. From seok kyung's perspective if you think. Su ryeon will seem like that. And there is a saying children are like clay they become the shape they are moulded into. What Dan tae taught her from childhood she learnt that. And it wasn't exactly false in the kind of environment she lived. Eun byeol was rude to Jenny and threatened her but was not able to do something to seok kyung coz her father was rich. Jenny min hyuk only talked with her because she was rich. The others at school feared her because she was rich. If as a child you see that everything is about money then it get settles in your brain. Talking about S3 seok kyung she was not angry that Seok hoon was becoming good but because he was drifting apart from her. Seok kyung had no friends only her her brother and mother. But if you see from her perspective her mother was too busy to take revenge for her dead boyfriend and Seokhoon was to busy with her came back to life girlfriend to notice that she was lonely. Seok hoon promised seok kyung he will never leave her side and will go to foreign or anywhere where seok kyung goes but in S3 he was planning to go to Julliard secretly with Rona and didn't even bothered to tell her. As viewers we knew that what happened in S2 was planned by su ryeon. Seok hoon knew it was a plot by her mother but seok kyung didn't she honestly believed that her father has kidnapped su ryeon and hurted her. So whatever Joo dan tae told her she honestly believed them coz she didn't knew what actually happened and it was indeed true that Joo dan tae was framed by Su ryeon. I just think that Su ryeon had many chances even after seok a's death to become their mother but as Logan said if she goes on the path of revenge as she will never be able to return to seok hoon seok kyung's mother.
I think her character is really misunderstood and that’s why people hate her. I think deep down she’s not a bad person, she just adapts to her environment and the world she lives in is cruel and it forces her to be bad because if she is not the one who hurts others she’s the one who gets hurt.
shes lowkey one of my favorite character in the series, but shes so rude in penthouse LMAO
Her and Eunbyeol both are characters that I’m still rooting for redemption and evolution. They have hope to be better, they’ve been abused and put under ridiculous expectations. They’re becoming adults now, in s3, and I think that’s going to force them to have reality checks.
I still hate eunbyeol but her end is good
She has toxic attitudes that will make you convinced that she's an evil young lady. But I can't hate her, she grew up in the house where her father abuses her and her mother doesn't have an idea about what is happening. Don't tell me that she's rude, because everyone in the penthouse is rude (except seokhoon maybe) they are all messed up. Even Seojin, I feel sorry for her.

It's not how it work there's no evil or good people everyone has their bright and dark side but seok kyung "dark" side has taken over to the point that she made innocent people like seol ah suffer as if her life wasn't hard enough. I don't feel sorry for her nor bad she deserves what happened to her. Did you know hitler was beat up regulary and humialted by his dad ? does that make his actions okay ?

S1- was abused, becoming a bully then lost her twin that she thought a fraud
S2- was abused, still a bully then lost her aunt that she thought her mum
S3- abused again and got slap a lot. Lost her judgement about her true mother and fake father.
But sadly she know nothing about her twin, aunt, her biological mother and so-called 'appa' and people bashing her without trying to figure out why she is evil?
Basically the young girl less of love.

after finishing s2 I can say I'm glad the writer didn't change her character drastically, she reacts from her scars and put a strong fake facade to shield herself, she's selfish in ways and doesn't care abt others unless she loves them.. her defending rona kinda shows that deep down she's aware what did was wrong but refuse to accept it cause was nobody taught to say sorry...
until now none of the kids showed remorse for what they did and their parents took the blame for their faults but seokhoon for most part, hope the writer won't miss that part

Hera kids didn't get their punishments. And like you said, they did not show remorse, (maybe only seokhoon since he wanted to visit Minseol's grave and Seokhoon showed the best character development). After the season finale, i see a lot of ppl have started to praise Seokkyung bc she "defended" rona, i am glad she did that and i think she will change in s3 but its still to early to root for her. I've seen comments like "She showed the best character development, she is the best, etc.."
No, she still has a long way to go, defending Rona was nothing compared to what she did to Minseol. But i can see her character development coming and i am glad. But people are so quick to flatter seokkyung. I'm waiting for her to apologize to Rona and Jenny

this please, i personally grew fond for eunbyeol especially in s2, i feel like seokkyung showed her vulnerability while eunbyeol pretended to be fine till the end tho she was never mentally stable.
