I’m exhausted from being so dismissed by doctors. I have had to advocate for myself so strongly for last two years.
Last year they checked my iron and ferritin and said I was in range and fine. Had a new doctor look at it the other day and she said, yes in range but barely getting by. Had iron and ferritin tested again. My iron saturation is so low at 27 and my ferritin is at at 30. The level when she said I was just getting by was a 62 and now I am half that a ferritin of 30. I’m waiting to hear how they can help me. Crazy what can be happening if we don’t advocate for ourselves. Anyone else have this ferritin issue ??
HRT is slowly starting to help me too…thank goodness for finding a good doctor to help me with that
Well done for persevering! We hear from so many women who have to fight for, what should be, basic care! Good to hear that things are improving for you

Quite possible .same here .I am 47. With low ferritin 5. Awful symptoms. And you just can't differeciate whether it is peri meno or just low ferritin.
There is iron deficiency protocol group in Facebook and if you follow them you just can't imagine how such a lot of women suffer from low ferritin and not only iron but also vit d and b 12 😏🙄😶😑it's like a death
@@AvogelCoUk yes it makes me so sad that I have to fight to get cared for !!! Do yu hear about a lot of low ferritin levels in menopause?
Ohh yes that’s me.
Had slightly wavy hair and now it’s a lot more wavy. Had to relearn how to style it 😅
how do you ever feel normal again . Is its lack of hormones for remaining 30 years? all while working/ family ! Very tough time women are heroes ❤
Yes, Emma, it seems much more difficult to cope with the menopause these days with all the extra we have to contend with! Hopefully, things will ease off as time goes by and the body learns to cope better

I kind of figured that about symptoms being actually something else rather than menopause. So I keep an eye on things, but don't want to run to the Dr's of course everytime.
Yes, that's really important as not all symptoms can be blamed on the menopause! A number of health issues can cause symptoms that are identical to menopause ones such as vitamin D or B12 deficiency, anaemia, thyroid imbalance, diabetes and heart disease

Great video! Thank you. I have every kind of paresthesia symptom. These symptoms hit at the same exact time that my period became erratic. Some, such as burning skin sensation, went away. Others have lingered. I'm praying for a better post menopause.
Hi Eileen!😊 Recently I have noticed a pain in the right side of my jaw. I didn't have an real issues with my mouth and jaw before; but now my jaw and teeth feel off track. I have a dental appointment tomorrow to see what is going on. I did see a condition called temporomandibular joint disorder which can be triggered by menopause might be the issue. But I will see what my dentist says tomorrow. Thank for your informative and helpful videos.
I believe many of the symptoms women experience during menopause can really improve with good quality supplements. Since starting Neolife provitality I’ve noticed my hair and nails are healthy, also my energy levels improved. I’m 55 now and many of the symptoms have improved or disappeared.
Hi Jennifer
Yes, I'm a great fan of supplements and how much the can help generally!

Can menopause cause cold skin on different spots. Also, gums look swollen, have always had good oral health
Changing hormones can affect circulation so some areas of the body may feel cooler due to impaired blood flow.
Yes, swollen or bleeding gums can happen, a supplement called CoQ10 can often help with this but it's a good idea to check with your dentist too and let them know that you're in the menopause

Can menopause make you very hot all day can not feel the cold had a lot of test all came back ok it 11 years for me with no answer
Hi Jacqueline
Falling hormones can affect the way your body controls temperature and this could be permanently affected post menopause. You may find acupuncture helpful for this so worth looking into
