Coming from what is essentially a custom house, that seems more than fair. If a collector doesn't like the NRD, either because they can't currently afford it or because they don't like being locked into a purchase, they shouldn't preorder and just roll the dice that one is available when it's ready to ship or to purchase one from the secondary/resale market. Lock in the piece or don't, it's one or the other.
Completely understand! I have paid in full for the 66 Batmobile and Snowspeeder. Thank you for stepping up, and brining us products no one else would. CANNOT wait for the Batmobile....😁
Sounds reasonable. You give a much more personal approach than other collectible companies and a buyer should show appreciation by living up the commitment. We expect you to live up to your commitment to us, so we should do the same. I can’t wait for my weathered batmobile to finish production!!!! Thanks for the great work and attention to detail.
No issues with the NRD at all Joost. I tend to like to wait till you all have stopped tinkering with the product and get the “second batch” if you will. I always pay in full when in stock and will NEVER cancel a JazzInc product! I’m with you all till the end of the line! Been here since the DS proto brother!!
There should be no crying when a refund isn’t honored, for such quality products. Another thing that many potential buyers overlook, is the fact that they have unintentionally removed the opportunity for someone else to potentially buy, that could see the deal fully through. I bet there are more potential customers who are upset with the fact that they didn’t get a chance to order, than those who did order, and didn’t pay in full (another great reason to keep your products limited- but unfortunate for the die-hard). Business is business, so thanks for your dedication to bring some of us, some of the coolest collectibles in the galaxy!
Totally fair my friend! Hard work does not come cheap! I felt so bad when I didn’t realize the new email reminder system wasn't enabled so I didn't get any notifications. When I logged on I think I had like 10 payments due! 🤣 My Credit Card hates me, but I got those squared up ASAP, glad the email reminders are back! haha. Keep up the great work guys!
If the new structure doesn't work then maybe make the pre-order deposit larger to try and minimise the amount of people who place an order because of "hype" and then change their mind shortly after. For some items which are high cost and low numbers I would even think about having %100 upfront. If you don't reach the minimum order amount then don't even go ahead with the prototype, of course you could still make a prototype for yourself. I see fb posts almost everyday suggesting items that are just not feasible and have way too much risk. Which goes to show how some people approach their pre-orders. As soon as I saw the Iron Scavengers coming out from 3rd party manufacturers I knew people would cancel irrespective of accuracy. Another approach for these types of items could be to do limited one off batches. This would enable you to deliver on orders and be done with it. f you still have a demand for a 2nd batch you could have a cooling off period just to see if anything crops up before making a decision. Having a single batch could also set an pseudo limit of "one" version, instead of having a second batch with improvements, which can leave a bad taste in the mouth for people who opted in early. I would also try and acquire contacts in china that have their ears to the ground in regards to items that are in the works. I know there are various forums which discuss future figures with early prototype images. Good luck and enjoy your break. Looking forward to the '66, I have been re-watching episodes every week when I get time.
I am staying around. Cannot wait for the 1995 batmobile. My patents start very soon and I won’t complain about nothing. You do you guys, wish I could get the batwing
@@JazzIncdioramas I hope you can figure it out. Maybe make the wings so we can assemble them after we receive the package. Paneled sections? Mix of aluminum and ABS? Definitely not one piece wings.
Completely fair. Based on the Facebook pages, this community is filled with people who want collectibles but quite frankly, cannot afford them. Those people shouldn't be ordering from JazzInc.
@You need help I don't believe that... I see many of the same people asking about cancellations (on FB groups, Sideshow groups, Hot Toys groups, etc.) who are always asking about/complaining about NRDs, payment plans, etc.... which means they can't truly afford the collectibles. Maybe someone might get buyers regret, but again, anyone who see's something else that is cheaper, who need the cheaper option, can't really afford the proper JazzInc item.
@You need help nope. There are many things in this world that I want but can't afford, so I don't order/buy them . Simple. It's not fair to Joost or his business to order something you can't afford then make up reasons for the cancelation.
Most people who can’t afford these products won’t place the order, simple as that. The problem isn’t affordability, it’s more so the cancelation long after the fact for the reasons stated above. The reason people are canceling rarely are because they can’t afford the item.
Strong Dad-energy here. The fear, not that he gets angry, but that he becomes disappointed in you, 😆. Sounds reasonable.
😂 that made me laugh
Paid off my Snowspeeder months ago, totally understand
Thanks 😊

Thanks for the support

Jazz Inc strikes back! Good, very good.
I love my Batwing and I’ve prepaid my 89 Batmobile. Appreciate you guys.
You said your production volume is low. Is there ever a way to find out how many you produced of a specific piece?
Thank you for you and your team! You all do this for the love of it and for the fans.
Thanks for noticing. That is what drives us. We are definitely not in this for the money 😂

Ad always, thank you for being transparent. Keep up the great work. My loyalty is with Jazz Inc
Thank you!
100% fair
Makes alot of sense
Too late to add a small electric motor to rotate the '89 Batwing Gatling gun, Joost??
Yes too late. And our development budget is long gone
Joost, what's your thoughts on a N1? Doable?
Yes, but I would definitely wait until the end of next year to start that. I would probably tackle the Jedi starfighter first
@@JazzIncdioramas is the Tie Fighter still happening?
We don’t know yet. Still working out different engineering options
@@JazzIncdioramas I hope you can figure it out. Maybe make the wings so we can assemble them after we receive the package. Paneled sections? Mix of aluminum and ABS? Definitely not one piece wings.
We are also looking at that option
