Meli Derenalagi is that tall guy you was referring to, but pio Tuwai is the real offload king.
Fiji sevens team introduced the offload to the work. Most teams tried to mimic this but rarely connect.
Fiji has always been a god tier team in sevens a class all by themselves and in from nz, but I've always known this.
Im practically smiling watching your reactions. I grew up watching these kinds of plays from the Fiji 7s team and didnt realize until I started watching reactions videos to Fiji's 7s games how amazing other people find their styles. Thank you.

Offloading the ball in rugby means getting rid of the ball to your teammate whilst the game is still in play. Your description of the offload the way the Fijians do it is unique to the Fijian team and I agree that it is apt to describe as the chicken wing pass.

The French Unders 18years yesterday was doing well yesterday competition they outplayed Russia yesterday. they are still below 18yrs the did so well.
Its just call offloading, doesn't matter what kind of pass,just no forward pass though.

It's only offload if you are being tackled then you pass the ball.
Otherwise its just a pass but different names,like backpass, no look pass,long pass,basketball pass, hail Mary, or if you want to you can call it chicken wing pass but we never heard of it before. That's why some people debate it but its still a pass.
