She could still have sold the program even with those mistakes and then the overall effect wouldn't be so bad. The 2nd half was fine, but she didn't look like she enjoyed being out on the ice and didn't attack the program. I hope she'll improve as the season progresses. Good luck Alena!
There is no good choreo in an otherwise stunning musical choice for a stunning skater. As for Miss Alena, she is in a very simple and clear position: either work hard enough to get the 3A and a stunning programme which is stunning sold and potentially go to the Olympics, or stay at this level and know she has no chance of going. In a way, that kind of simplicity is really helpful, because it takes away doubts about unfairness and prejudicial treatment, and means her destiny is really in her own hands. Of course, she might not make it for a myriad of reasons, and we will still love her anyway. But I think we all know deep down that we need that second lutz on the music at the OG!!!
I think she is so nervous. She seemed confident yesterday but today, doesn't... I think her skating skill is still good and she can improve more. Be confident Aliona!
For someone so naturally beautiful her dresses look either cheap or tacky. I almost wonder if the designer doesn't like Alena because she has consistently had the worst dresses in the group.
This is a mental/psychological game for her. As well as Sambo70 really investing in her. She has the most gorgeous skating skills and when on form one of the best triple Axels but *where* is her head at? Why the empty generic choreography? Why the poor dress? Vivaldi is gorgeous and she can be amazing but as others said there is a lack of connection - and you cannot skate behind the music with the 4 Seasons - it is beautiful but unforgiving if you miss a beat. I am *willing* her to succeed.
Very slow and did not keep up with this music, I felt nothing from it. Her best program was to Twilight she was committed and edgy and this is so boring and I love her skating skills

Новые программы не накатаны и даются тяжело. Такой талант! Такая невероятная связь со льдом! А что сейчас? Алена, сил тебе и терпения. Будет очень обидно, если самая талантливая фигуристка поколения так и закончит с фк, не реализуя в полном объёме свой потенциал
from this i think daniil is not a good choreographer. or at least not consistently good. because a good choreographer should compose the program and choose music in a way that highlights the skater's strengths. And from what you said, the music choice is does not do that, a good choreographer should have identified that especially that they have worked for this skater for a long time. same goes for kamila with bolero, as others have stated. no shade to daniil, just my 2 cents.
@@orange_leaf4913 what's wrong with bolero? I actually started enjoying Bolero on this competition - it somehow got better, especially because Kami started to have at least some soft of expression. Daniil was a good choreographer, I still think that his black swan was masterpiece, but his late works are just copies of his previous programs. Not everything has to be fast, I would like to see the skaters hold a position for once. It fit's for some music, but in some it's actually terrible (Kami and her Muse program).

But I agree his quality isn't consistent. Trusova's choreos were shit until this season, and it's like the roles have changed bc now Aliona is the one getting boring choreos. Scherbakova's new programs also aren't that unique choreo-wise. I don't really blame Daniil, since they have lots of skaters but common, to give queen Kostornaia this bland choreo feels like an insult lol
Alena is a beautiful skater. She just doesnt seem to be as into the performances as she was in her peak years. I am not sure she will make a comeback but she is still one of my favorite Russian women figure skaters.
Still fighting that battle in her head. Eteri and Danny G need to dissect and handle her emotions very carefully if they actually intend to keep her in the Olympic conversation. If that's not their intention, they will keep doing the same thing and she will continue underperforming. I hope this changes.
This is not it. I’m still convinced they need to scrap both programs. Either that or turn this into a short program. The music should work in theory but her current skating is way too slow to do it justice. The choreography is generic and the dress is drab. It pains me to be critical because she is stunning and I love her skating. I hope relations with her coaching team are strong enough that they’ll rework these programs with her. I know she can be better than this.
She seemed so nervous, bored, disengaged. Not quite sure. Sadly I don’t see the Tutberidze camp reworking her programs. They’re gonna put their money on Sasha, Kamila and Maiia.
Feels like tutberidze team is neglecting her and giving her the least attention and worst programs and costumes. They’re so focused on Kamila and Trusova and quads, they forget it was Aliona who was constant and invicted for 2 years, plus the one that has the greatest component score, artistry and GOE…

A different choreographer may have helped I think, someone like Averbukh maybe.? The programs he's done for Tuktymusheva are lovely. I like the choice of Vivaldi though!
I can't stand the comments saying this is an empty program or some sort of sabotage from her choreographer. Have we forgotten pure skating? She is nuanced, articulated, postured and stunning. I hate that everyone wants some flailing garbage of the likes of you know who.
Как то тяжеловато, в натяг. Посмотрела прошлые программы 2018/2019. Нет сравнения. Она их так легко катала. Катание, музыка, Алёна: в всё сливалось в единое. Сейчас как буд-то сил не хватает. Видно, что Алёна сама растроилась.
Не надо было бегать от тренера к тренеру ! Упустила время ! Налюбоваться не могла Аленой ! Такие классные программы были у нее ! На музыку Вивалиди конечно она теперь не тянет ! И верно подмечено ,платьем тоже не попали .

She was running out of gas on that last minute of the program. Lovely dress and music, wish the editing was better and more of a build up, felt monotone. Kudos for trying triple axel. Spins have improved. But as we know without a quad or clean 3x it’s a podium for the already expected 4
She should’ve had skated for other country as Gubanova did for the OG. Russia at the moment is packed with great talents. Once you are 4th on the line, the hope is minuscule
La adoro pero por los saltos errados iniciales, se perdió de la coreografía de la música, no terminaba a tiempo y empezó a correr esa es mi sensación, la verdad que es muy rápida esa música, si estuviera bien en la técnica sería excelente, pero aún está inestable. Necesita ese 3A y un quad, esa es la verdad sino no podrá competir, me encantan sus giros, su 3F+3T es hermosísimo, ninguna puede igualarlo, espero que no se desanime y siga trabajando, las olimpiadas no es el único fin, y ella necesita trabajar, me encanta porque ella es el mix perfecto de arte y técnica, pero aún falta. No te desanimes Aleona.

Es el inicio de la temporada pero desde los test skates en Rusia la vi poco concentrada con este programa, lo maravilloso de Aliona era no solo tu tremendo 3A sino tambien su "musicalidad" , ella te vendia el programa sobretodo en la secuencia de pasos, ahora la veo muy dispersa esta muy concentrada en saltar ese triple axel bien pero lo demas esta sufriendo por eso, espero mejore es de mis favoritas!

После наступления 16 лет, фигуристки из группы ЭТ , никому не нужны. И, Алёна, к сожалению, не нужна тренерскому штабу. (Тренируют Алёну, бонусом за прошлые заслуги). Парадокс в том, что ЭТ, не умеет работать с девушками 16-19 лет, она просто не умеет . Сейчас, мы видим, что произошло с девчёнками, после 16 лет- изчезли. (Юля Липницкая, Загитова, Медведева, теперь Косторная, уже Щербакова). Зря Алёна вернулась к ЭТ. Если не проявит характер и силу воли, ее звездочка потухнет. Удачи во всём, Алёне !👍
It’s not Eteri’s fault when kids grow mature. It happens everywhere all over the world: Nagasu, Zhang, Chen, etc. Your body are more developed, harder to jump and have to re-learn them again, want more freedom. It’s normal, they are just like us
I agree that Aliona should not give up, but encouraging her by dragging down other skaters (i.e. Anna, Sasha and other skilled women, who could still beat both Aliona and Kamila, for all we know) is not a way to do it. This is just the beggining of the season and each skater has time to improve/get consistent. Sasha has already proven that she can jump 5 quads in one program. Anna has an injury atm, but she can jump quads too. Even Maiia could still beat them, if she'll manage to land her quads while others won't. And that's only speaking about Russian field!! What about Japanese, Korean and USA skaters? There are a lot of great skaters who can still surprise us this season. So when you put it like they aren't "serious competitors" it just isn't true and is extremely offensive to all of them.
I don't like this FS. It showcases no artistry, emotion or feeling. It's like watching someone other than Aliona skate, bc we know she can be passionate. Choosing this program for the Olympic season is probably the worst choice Eteri's team has ever made. As of this season's FS, Valieva deserves higher PCS than Kostornaia, which is smth I never thought would happen. No one expected Aliona to perform worse at 17 than she did in her senior debut, but I truly hope they change programs bc this one is a big no for the Olympics. Recycling last season's FS would be a better option than getting (or at least deserving) low PCS on a program with shaky jumps and bland choreo (also wtf Gleikhengauz??)

I totally agree. If she had really given us emotion those mistakes would've been forgotten (performance-wise).
She used to look so fierce, she selled her programs like no other but something seems off, I hope she gets better with time

Es el inicio de la temporada pero desde los test skates en Rusia la vi poco concentrada con este programa, lo maravilloso de Aliona era no solo tu tremendo 3A sino tambien su "musicalidad" , ella te vendia el programa sobretodo en la secuencia de pasos, ahora la veo muy dispersa esta muy concentrada en saltar ese triple axel bien pero lo demas esta sufriendo por eso, espero mejore es de mis favoritas!

Много времени потеряно , там она расслабилась, очень с такими пролетами можно было уже четвертные прыгать, если сидела бы на месте

После наступления 16 лет, фигуристки из группы ЭТ , никому не нужны. И, Алёна, к сожалению, не нужна тренерскому штабу. (Тренируют Алёну, бонусом за прошлые заслуги). Парадокс в том, что ЭТ, не умеет работать с девушками 16-19 лет, она просто не умеет . Сейчас, мы видим, что произошло с девчёнками, после 16 лет- изчезли. (Юля Липницкая, Загитова, Медведева, теперь Косторная, уже Щербакова). Зря Алёна вернулась к ЭТ. Если не проявит характер и силу воли, ее звездочка потухнет. Удачи во всём, Алёне !👍
It’s not Eteri’s fault when kids grow mature. It happens everywhere all over the world: Nagasu, Zhang, Chen, etc. Your body are more developed, harder to jump and have to re-learn them again, want more freedom. It’s normal, they are just like us

I agree that Aliona should not give up, but encouraging her by dragging down other skaters (i.e. Anna, Sasha and other skilled women, who could still beat both Aliona and Kamila, for all we know) is not a way to do it. This is just the beggining of the season and each skater has time to improve/get consistent. Sasha has already proven that she can jump 5 quads in one program. Anna has an injury atm, but she can jump quads too. Even Maiia could still beat them, if she'll manage to land her quads while others won't. And that's only speaking about Russian field!! What about Japanese, Korean and USA skaters? There are a lot of great skaters who can still surprise us this season.
So when you put it like they aren't "serious competitors" it just isn't true and is extremely offensive to all of them.

I don't like this FS. It showcases no artistry, emotion or feeling. It's like watching someone other than Aliona skate, bc we know she can be passionate. Choosing this program for the Olympic season is probably the worst choice Eteri's team has ever made. As of this season's FS, Valieva deserves higher PCS than Kostornaia, which is smth I never thought would happen. No one expected Aliona to perform worse at 17 than she did in her senior debut, but I truly hope they change programs bc this one is a big no for the Olympics. Recycling last season's FS would be a better option than getting (or at least deserving) low PCS on a program with shaky jumps and bland choreo (also wtf Gleikhengauz??)
С прыжками у нее сегодня, что-то не задалось. Произвольная та которая последняя у Плющенко гораздо больше понравилась чем эта.
Ну, не сказать, что не задалось! Сделала достаточно хорошо, но со степаутами некоторые…
Это Пп гораздо интереснее и сложнее. Положите, когда Алена ее выкатает, то будет очередной шедевр!

Понятно, что Алёна не в форме, но программа ни о чем, пустышка. Стоило уходить от Розанова с Плющенко, чтобы катать такую фигню, которую на отвали поставили в Хрустальном? Алёна сама виновата, конечно, своими метаниями. Жаль ее, большой талант.

Блеклое выступление, вчера Алена искрилась, вся сверкала, сегодня как-то серо,вяло, увы.Обе программы пустоваты,может рассчитаны на более сложные прыжки?Когда Алена в ударе,равной ей нет!Будем за Алену держать кулачки .

Ассоциация с музыкой только Шома Уно и конечно его катание хоть иногда и с ошибками, но все равно смотрится гармонично. Здесь же пока смотреть нечего

por dios, aún es muy pronto. alexandra ha competido mal en sus dos últimos torneos, anna no sabemos cómo volverá ni si ha recuperado los quads y kamila precisamente suele fallar mucho. todo puede pasar, hasta que se cuele liza o maiia.
@@alba_2403 es verdad pero las 3 tienen como defenderse con su técnica. Aliona no recupera el 3A e incluso falló un triple. Las posibilidades de aliona son muy bajaas honestamente ☹️ la única q le hace lucha a las chicas eteri es liza
@@mariafernandafujimoto6812 bueno, en puntos totales incluso trusova sacó menos nota en el torneo al que fue que aliona. shcherbakova también falló un triple en los test skates y como 3 o 4 triples en los entrenamientos del budapest trophy, además de no hacer un quad limpio ni en entrenamientos ni en competición. obviamente aliona lo tiene complicado, pero al menos ya la hemos visto aterrizar el 3A.

Алёне уже пора на пенсию, теперь у неё ничего не будет лучше. Уже не может поднять пятую точку. Её очень тяжело катается. Пусть пойдет по шоу, как Загитова, чтобы хотябы бабки заработать😂.
Чтобы приглашали на шоу, надо сначала светить таблом на больших соревнованиях и стать хотя бы чемпионкой мира.
