Awesome Mike! Got to watch and hear a 4555 pulling a 7 shank ripper with a straight pipe from overhead on a bridge today. It was like music to my heart.
As always a great video Mike. Got the field opened up and all the equipment checked out. The corn looks great and I hope the beans are as good as they look. We have completed hay for 2024, just cleaning things up before we tuck it away for the year. Stay safe and we'll see you on the next one
Thanks Scott. As you see at the end we just got done with the last round bales of the year. I have a couple wagons of squares to unload then we are done with hay
Really awesome drone footage Mike. Things looking good, hopefully your corn harvest goes well. There's a couple of weeds around the silo so I'm pretty triggered about that but other than that I'll be OK 😂
Definitely need to be looking into another wagon. Just speaking from experience. One day a wagon will go down in the middle of harvest. And you'll be trying to get by with one. Just a note for the future. Have a good one mike
Just a little bit too green to chop con silage by us you too but not very far south of us it's pedal to the metal. We have enough corn silage to last us a couple weeks yet. Do you think you might Ag bag any??
Its flooded. So many people have hay to sell right now. I got a call from a guy in PA looking to buy a tractor trailer load of hay so hopefully I can get a load of hay moved out. I wrapped most of the dry hay so we'll have hay to sell this winter
How many acres is that field? We put up around 30 to 35 acres every year. I know you are close to the same. Those Creek flats really produce don't they!
We are constantly going around and pushing back edges of the field. The field you see in this video has a river on the other side of the trees so you can only push back so far

Glad you enjoyed. I remember when I put a straight pipe on our 4555. It was a beautiful sound
Great Video Mike, Good to see the big corn block opened up, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. Always a great time of year
Hey mike great vidéo i love this old school equipement

Great video Mike!
Thank you Glen
Great video. Crops look great. Thanks Mike
Thank you Ames. I appreciate it
First!😂😂😂😂 Good to see you are ready to rock and roll for the full silage harvest. 👍👍
Thank you. Good to get started. Now to have it dry down a little more so we can be in full harvest mode
You have one of the best farming channels on UA-cam! Great Job!
Thank you Bill. There are a lot of really great ag channels on UA-cam so just being mentioned with them means a lot
Ahhhh, sweet smelling freshly chopped silage.
It is a great smell indeed!
Great awesome video mike
Thank you. Great to be chopping corn
Really awesome drone footage Mike. Things looking good, hopefully your corn harvest goes well. There's a couple of weeds around the silo so I'm pretty triggered about that but other than that I'll be OK 😂
Haha! I know I should just stop filling the silo and focus on the weeds around the silo
Mike you are passionate about farming and your videos
Thank you John. I try to work hard at both
I love it. Old School choppin!
Its one of my favorite jobs

Thanks Bryan. Have a good one too
👀🙄🐾👍Great video Mike
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome vid 👌 👍
Thank you.
Good videos.....
Thank you Ron
Are you putting up a bag or 2 as well as filling the silo? That corn sure looks nice… happy harvest.. great video
Yeah that's the plan is to put up a bag this year when the silo is full
🚜💪👍😁
Thank you Carlos

Yeah I should have bagged a bag last year but we got done so late and I took a gamble that we'd get by. I was a couple weeks short on my gamble.
Still rocking the Blue Tombstones eh? Do you use all 3 still?
Yes, still use all 3. They've worked great for us
Did Sealstore become badger?
I'm not sure
Hows the hay market doing over there this year?
Its flooded. So many people have hay to sell right now. I got a call from a guy in PA looking to buy a tractor trailer load of hay so hopefully I can get a load of hay moved out. I wrapped most of the dry hay so we'll have hay to sell this winter
@mikep7810 Yeah, it's the same here. I figured you would be getting calls from the southeast coast? I heard they are all dried up?
@e.a.bfarms I haven't gotten any calls yet. I think once we get closer to winter people will start calling
Do you chop more corn for sileage, or do you combine more and sell it as grain ?
We chop for corn silage and combine for high moisture corn the majority of our corn
How many acres is that field? We put up around 30 to 35 acres every year. I know you are close to the same. Those Creek flats really produce don't they!
Its around 30-35 acres
My corn hasn’t even started denting yet, so I have a while
Beans look good, around here they look like shit, yellow and barely grew
I'm surprised they are still so green. We haven't had much rain lately. I figures the leaves would start to yellow and drop here soon
Why don’t you bush hog are your fields? I know time is limited but you’re losing the edges of your fields to the weeds and trees….
We are constantly going around and pushing back edges of the field. The field you see in this video has a river on the other side of the trees so you can only push back so far
Please clean your glass
Haha since you said please I will Allen. I apologize that we haven't had rain in a couple weeks and things are pretty dusty.
Enjoyed the video Mike 👍👍
Thank you John
