I think this is honestly so sweet. In other movies or even in the G1 Starscream was never truly respected, but to realize what happened in this scene shows how loyal both Shockwave and Soundwave really are.
I think a big part of it is that this Starscream is still taken seriously because he earned his place at the top before Megatron took it which means, by their logic, no one except Megatron was gonna best him even after that fight. Not to mention given this Starscream’s beliefs he likely had a begrudging respect for Megatron for defeating him at all, one that was solidified when he refused to kneel to Sentinel.
I do feel bad what happened to star scream since he was the original leader. However, it seems the high guard were uncertain what to do, but star scream, who perhaps both feared and respected Megatron because of what he did to him and what he accomplished in destroying sentinel as Starscream was unable to. The commander saw Megatron is someone to fear and respect and decided praising him was the best course of action. Hence why he commanded, and why the high guard realize that following Megatron and Starscream was the best choice.
Also at the end they moved after Megatron ordered "High Guard, follow me!" and I think it was Starscream who made the first move. Imagine nobody following him even after the order 😂 they already knew what kind of dictator Megatron would be.

It makes sense that the high guard respect starscream i mean even if starscream didn't get anything done he kept them alive so I think that's good enough reason for the high guard to still follow starscreams lead at this pivotal moment no doubt their allegiance will be to Megatron fully later on but it's a cool detail
Most probably, Starscream shouted "All hail Megatron" because he knew that the High Guards switched their allegiance to Megatron/D16 and was afraid that if he does not show his allegiance to Megatron, Megatron would order the High Guard to turn against Starscream to be annihilated. Starscream was left no other option after everybody thought that Orion Pax is already dead but to become a subordinate to Megatron in order to survive since he had nowhere to go ✌️✌️✌️✌️
And thats where the tragic story of Starscream begins honestly I feel really bad for him even more when you consider him losing all of his power to some random guy who was extremely pissed at Sentinel If only he stayed in Iacon that day :(

So that's why when Megatron said destroy the Iacon the high guards respect Starscream and when Starscream say Hail Megatron the high guards starting firing

Have you heard of Transformers prime, in the animated show Soundwave is the most loyal Deception. In the show Starcrem tried to betray Megaton, however Soundwave always helped Megatron even in the blink of the megatorn's death. When Megatron was unconscious Starscrem tried to anhilate Him, but at right moment Soundwave appeared to Save him and soundwave is a stubborn , he insisted to keep Megatron alive. In the show the i felt the depth of his character, the show was amazing as well as awesome and soundwave's character design is cool . Not only design but also his personality.
Did you know install screen and sine wave and shockwave for firing I don’t know what’s the purple one name is it shockwave you can see him get his gun out like him reloading or showing his bullet cannon whatever It is from his elbow you can see him activate it and he starts firing
And one more thing did you know when D 16 is staring directly at Santos prime his eyes I saw orange they look like it’s about to turn red but when he’s with Orion packed his eyes I less orange does that mean he still likes Ryan packed as a friend 🤔

Not at all. They were going to blast the living crap out of Sentinel's buildings, but had to go further to the point where they could do so. Also they noticed Screamy had something to say so they stopped for a while so they can hear what he has to say. Soundwave was loyal to Megs when he was going to beat Starscream, because he stopped Shockwave from going into the fight.
