Would have been cool if the video was 7 seconds longer (13:49) Great kid and interview. Look forward to watching him race on bigger stages in the future. Good Luck!
Colonel Popcorn Detweiller Park’s course has a lot more history behind it than Silver Lakes Norco’s course. Around 6 people since Virgin’s effort 47 years ago have broken 14 on the course while around 6 people in the past few years on Silver Lakes have broken 14. Both courses are undoubtedly fast but having run both, Detweiller’s incline makes it tougher than the latter. Watching both Methner and Young break the record was amazing though, and this is not meant to put down Nico’s accomplishment.
He’s my teammate he’s much better at Fortnite than running
Hersey XC are you lying

how does Illinois produce such great runners year after year?
I can't even run one mile that fast.
that’s pathetic
@@landerlahtinen6390 That's not pathetic, I bet you couldn't even break 5:30 in a mile
@@landerlahtinen6390 I’ll send you money if you can
I don’t get it. It’s impressive, but when Nico Young broke the record with a faster time no one cared that much, and that was this year.
Oof
