Mmmmm...Content for the Content God. Nice to see a comprehensive comparison. You should pick up Emissary Development's Paddle Shifter set for the HLX. Took a light that I already love up a notch.
Definitely appreciate you picking up that PL-350C and making this video. Like you said, it looks like you get a marginally brighter, but tighter output with the PL-350C, but other than that and the ability to run full size modlite heads, the streamlight just crushes the PL-350C. If I ever decide to dump my PL-350 OKW for something shorter (or thinner), the HLX will be the one I'd get.
Thank you for taking the time to watch . Yep , it’s definitely real hard to justify the PL350c over the Streamlight in the compact pistol light category . I do like the PL350c head on a handheld or maybe a rifle for CQB type stuff just to minimize footprint / weight .
Nice , grind down the number 4 rail key? We keep one of those in stock for making holster set ups for the MC9 and TLr7 , so should be the same for the HLx
I’m getting very interested in picking one of these up to swap the internals and head over to my tlr7-sub for my Glock 48. I’ll take the extra length for that bump in performance any day.
@@CloseQuartersCarry I found another group on Facebook with someone that did the same thing. If Streamlight is paying attention to their customers, they’re going to want to release a 7-sub hlx soon.

Thank you, very good review.
This comparison video is illuminating!
Thank you for watching
With a little modification, I got my trl7hlx to mount on my Canik Mc9. Damn good light for micro compact ranges

@@CloseQuartersCarry You got it!
Price and output, hard to beat. I grabbed a HL-X as soon as they were available
Thank you for watching !

Interesting that your interior demonstrations seems to be in a Detention facility, LOL....
Yeah the guards let me out of my cell on weekends to make UA-cam videos

Your the 3rd person I’ve herd say that. In the streamlight fans group on Facebook someone already did it and had a how to

How do you swap the internals?
