What I remember as surprisingly being a lot of fun, was doing a secret santa but everyone chooses a thing that they already own but don't like, that is very cheesy or weird or just not useful to them at all. Surprisingly, quite a lot of the gifts were really unusual and appreciated by the new owner, and we also agreed to the option of swapping gifts afterwards. Also we agreed anything that no one uses and needs would go to a charity shop afterwards. With a larger group, this was really an enjoyable experience and it removed the stressful expectations of choosing a good and useful gift.
My fav Christmas gift was a friend gave me spelt flour and fresh cherries. She normally bakes for others but since I’m wfpb and a baker she thought I would like to bake my own. I thought how cool that this person knows me so well ❤
Hello johanna. It's me again, the mom of 2 from the philippines. I just loved all your videos because you don't only share minimalism ideas but also how to be eco-friendly. We really need to take care of our environment...our planet...our only home. I just can't imagine the millions of tons of garbage our planet is carrying for thousands of years already. And Christmas and new year are the yearly events where we accumulate lots of waste (most of which are non-biodegradable and harmful like firecrackers). Now we are already experiencing the wrath of nature- floods, harsh weather, violent storms/hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, rising sea levels, drought, heavy rains, landslides, volcanic eruptions, forest fires... If we all think of ways to help lessen our garbage and take action ( reduce our consumption, buy less/buy biodegradables, eat less meat, control holiday spending) we can all stop global warming. Thank you for sharing something helpful and informative. Your videos can really make one think of how to live in commune with nature.
Love them all these ideas thnxs. The sight of your van gives me great visual peace and in this month of extreme consumerism, your eco-friendly gift ideas are more than necessary. 💛 Happy holidays 💫
Hello, love from Turkey. I loved your channel and your concept, you have a video on almost anything I can think of. I am sure you will continue to post such amazing content. I'm following. :) The question I want to ask is; I want to live the "van life" like you, how can I tell if wanting to live in van is a passing whim or if I really want it passionately? I just finished high school now and I'm trying to shape my life. Also, do you love the singer "Aurora" as much as I do? ☺
Oh wow, thank you so much. Your comment made me so happy 🥰 Regarding van life, you could try living in a van for a while, renting one, and see if you like it. Or just go for it! There’s not much to loose. You’ll learn a lot and if it’s a passing whim you can sell it. I wasn’t sure either but I knew I needed a change and living in a van is a great challenge! ❤️ Also, YES! I loooove Aurora ❤️❤️❤️
@@SagaJohanna Thank you very much for your reply, Even if the house I live in is the most luxurious, I feel like I'm on a leash to that area. It's like my life has to be spent there, as if there is no other place in the world. I refuse it, why shouldn't the whole world be my home? Sometimes you get a feeling, you feel like you have to follow it regardless of whether it's right or wrong. For me, life in nature is like that, I guess. :) It was more encouraging to see people who feel the same way as I do, as well as people who have tried and succeeded. Thanks again. :)
As a person who draw as a hobby I can offer another idea of a digital gift! If you are able to compose melody of a person, art of what they like or a written story migh be a really nice experience and very emotional gift

Wow I love this idea! That is fun, personal, and you don't need to buy anything new! Thank you for sharing 💛

Oh that is such a great idea!! I'm also wfpb, so that can make food gifts difficult, but that was such a great idea!!
Happy holidays to you and your family! Wishing you peace and joy today and every day.
Thank you to you too 🥰
You’re so right - a lot of these go overlooked! I especially liked the vintage gift idea. Thank you and happy holidays!🤍
Thank you so much! Yes right! The vintage one is my favorite 💛
