Still have my NAC62/NAP140 Combo, bought in 1989. I use it almost every day as part of my hi-fi audio and HD vision system. The selector control and volume are still as noise free as the day the combo was purchased over 30 years ago. It is simply the most fuss-free, reliable, neutral and dynamic amplification system I've ever owned or listened to.
great film very interesting, i still use my nait 2 its a great amp i have had it for about 25 years , and still going stromg . its great that naim audio are still making high quality hi fi
Happy new year, 2025. Now 36yrs later Naim could not improve on the excellence of the past in audio quality, or better said, what it improved it damaged it with comfort features electronics that were not supposed to be there in the first place to assure audio quality and simplicity. Now under Focal, nobody expects Naim to innovate relevantly anymore to re-establish itself as an audio quality lead, just like the Naim 50 did not really surpass the effect of a Nait 1 or at least its quality substantially like it‘s competitor today and then did today, musical fidelity, kept the price league and shows more of the classic qualities for today‘s sound expectation, even the legacy. I will soon invest in Naim again, vintage NAIM for that reason. Nice to find a video of the great people that made NAIM a name. Happy new year, 2025.
Perfection isnt cheap. If u want a bentley, its gonna cost u. If u want a decent hifi, that will too. In the words of an old stella artois ad.......reassuringly expensive. I love my naim set up!!
Naim owners ought to be aware of what JVs hobbies are that he spends his GBP - fortune on - it exists inside a very nice swanky harbour on the south coast of England. Don't you know.? Still this IS a very impressive company video on UA-cam. Are you now VERY jealous.? NB The old axis from the 1980s with Linn products is now totally kaput.

I doubt if Julian Vereker is spending anything any more. He died in 2000.
