I’m glad you picked up A Story of Seven Lives! I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on it. While Boy’s Abyss and The Summer Hikaru Died are both psychological manga, the tone of each are pretty different. To me Boy’s Abyss was just inescapable despair, while Hikaru is more melancholy with a very creepy atmosphere. At least that’s what I’ve noticed from reading the first volume of both. Great haul as always!

Just finished reading Read On Your New Legs this week and SO good! I am SO hoping you love volume two more of What's' Wrong with Secretary Kim! I will warn that No Longer Heroine is SUPER different then My Special One! The art is very similar, but No Longer Heroine is a hot mess but SO funny! I hope you enjoy because it seems people either love it or hate it, there is no in between! LOL! Very curious to hear your thoughts on Last Game! Such a great haul!!
I loved No Longer Heroine, it is really funny to me. The art is good with such funny facial expressions. Although i have heard some people do not like the main character, however i find her antics to be unbelievably funny and i am constantly rooting for her to win. Hope you enjoy it!
Female MC isn’t the problem, or second FMC, the male MC is, and he remained one until the end. I read this many years ago and it still makes me want to tear mine or his hair out🤯
Teasing Master is one of my favorite series. It makes me feel nostalgia for times that were simpler and I didn't have a care in the world. If you end up not liking the manga, I would encourage you to check out the anime instead.
I'm really on the fence with picking up A Story of Seven Lives because I usually gravitate towards depressing plots . However, those stories usually involve people. I'm not sure if I can handle abuse of and deaths of the kitties. Abuse and deaths of people? Sure! But kitties? I ......don't know if I could deal😭
Behind the Scenes is the first Shojo that I had ever read. It’s pretty good in my opinion, I recently reread it and I think it kind of goes downhill in the last few chapters
I think I’ll give “Shy” a try, looks interesting. Also Gap Papa and My Girlfriends Child look like something I might enjoy. Great video, I love hearing your thoughts and opinions on series. Looking forward to more hauls and especially reading logs :)
I thought it was ok...Viz did great with the shojo sales in the last week, Rumiko Takahashi stuff, and Slam Dunk. If I didn't own those series already, I would've bought all of them. Yen Press bombed. I've given up on them putting anything remotely interesting on the sale. Kodansha could've done better. Seven Seas did good.
My god, I was enjoying No longer Heroine and was getting impatient for volumes from my library so I finished it online.... And wasted my time. I'll honestly be surprised if you enjoy the later volumes. The manga made me angry.
@@profotaku I've only read one volume of My Special One so I don't know what happens there but I hope it's nothing like No longer Heroine, it's been a long time since a manga made me that angry. I'm sure as more volumes release I won't be the only one who doesn't like the direction the mangaka took.
