If physical is the second element, it will be less effective than having a normal damage perk. As physical only deals 50% damage to elemental enemies. So, while a maxed out physical perk says +44% damage, it will only be doing 22% damage instead. While a standard damage perk adds 30%. I definitely recommend changing it to a different perk.
@StrandedFlea if a weapon has a element besides physical it takes the properties of whatever element has particle effects on the gun. Water overrides the physical, meaning I do +44% more damage instead of +30% from a normal perk. Mind you, this is a purple weapon, making it very cheap to craft too.
@@mattux9705 The physical perk will still cut the damage down. It's only taking the elemental effect because physical doesn't have one. It doesn't override the damage in any way. I recommend changing the physical to an energy if you can. (I had AS help provide this answer)
Mines double element water physical with affliction, damage perk and damage to afflicted. One shots any husk at any range with the affliction alone.
