Great review! I have this guitar in a SSS configuration, and I love everything about it. The feel of this Wenge neck is awesome. It’s hard to describe but it feels fantastic in your hands. Definitely one of my favorite necks of all my guitars.
The GG is 24 frets and .820” at the 1st and about .880” at the 12th where the NJ is 22 frets, fairly similar at the 1st but a little thinner at the 12th at .865” Also, the GG is a compound radius and the NJ is straight 14”…if that matters to you. IMO the NJ is the more comfortable neck, but some of that is due to the Wenge neck. Both necks are very comfortable though.
I had a beautiful Schecter superstrat with a Floyd Rose and it was great but it also weighed 11 lbs and after playing a set you wanted to take a long break and get a massage. They don’t appreciate in resale value like USA Fenders, Gibsons or PRS axes do, so no thanks
I can’t stand heavy guitars! This one is in the 7 lb. range so all good. Not at all worried about resell value on this because it is so great it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon!
King's X!!! Nice!

quality wise is this better than USA charvel?
I’ve only had two USA Charvels…but yeah it’s better than those.
