Thank you, your eminence. Very plainly spoken. Protestant salvation has been won through Jesus picking up the tab and enabling sin. Ours is based on supernatural grace obtained through obedience to God, with the help He supplies when we love Him more than the things of the world.
Sadly I heard a man in a video on UA-cam tell people that they don’t have to believe in God to go to Heaven, they just have to nice to others. He went onto to say that we’re all cut from the same cloth. Sadly I’m sure others will believe him. This sermon by Bishop Sanborn reminded me how we must do more than to believe in God to hopefully get to Heaven, but we must also do penance, bear our crosses with patience, and more. It’s important to pray for the conversion of those who don not believe, and I’m guilty of not doing it enough.
Yes, you may not have "done enough." How will you ever know when you have? You are in a "pickle."

When you just "stop living", then how soon and why do you begin to live again? Or will there come a time when you have "lived enough"? Is sanctification only a burden? Does it have any fruit, any value, that would make it worth the effort?

I was never taught any of this when I was a Protestant.

Christ's death is sufficient for saving us from eternal punishment -, which is His Divine Mercy -, but only by individual _participation with His Divine Grace_ in His passion we can be saved from temporal punishment; which would be a consequence of is His Divine Justice
The *true* Christian concept of Mercy isn't to make the sinner to avoid punishment, but to make the sinner a Saint for the Glory of God
I'm guessing "protest" in protestant says it all. The question needn't be "why" but how do we avail ourselves of God's grace?

How is SALVATION gifted to man?
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
📖John 3:3 says,
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be Born Again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
How can a man be BORN-AGAIN?
To be Born-Again in spiritual sense, is to die to our old sinful nature and be born-again in the spirit, to be holy, righteous with a new nature in Christ Jesus.
👉To be born-again, we need to repent & confess our sinful past for a holy future.
What is repentance?
👉 REPENTANCE! Everyone born into this world is a Born-sinner. Human nature is a sinful nature. Sin in us has defiled us and has separated us from the Holy God!
We have to repent for all the unholy, lawless transgressions of God’s commandments done willfully or unknowingly, in order to obtain mercy and grace so that we might not be judged and fall into condemnation, the condemnation of eternal hell.
📖 Acts.3:19 says,..✔️Repent, then, and turn to GOD, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the LORD
What is confession of sins?
👉 CONFESSION! The guilt of sin and it’s condemnation is rolled away if one truly regrets his sinful past and confesses them in the presence of Jesus Christ.
📖Romans.10:9 &10
✔️That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
📖 1 John, 1st chapter & verse 9 says..
✔️If we confess our sins, He (Jesus Christ) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins(every sin)...
The sole purpose of sending Jesus Christ into this world more than 2020 ago is this👇

👉 GOD so loved the world (us) that He (Father GOD) gave His only begotten Son to die for us ( our redemption ), that whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) should not perish (in hell) but have everlasting life.

@Graciano True Popes who are true Catholics DONOT ridicule and abominate the holiness of the Catholic Church. An antipope however goes against the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
