Building Tips:
1. Use the cheat console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C
Input Cheat Codes:
bb.moveobjects
bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects Once you have activated this cheat enter DEBUG in the search bar to bring up the objects. Objects exist in build & buy mode.
2.To avoid a grid when placing objects, all you have to do is select an object and press the ”ALT” keyboard button. While holding that button, you can move around your selected object anywhere, as long as it doesn't touch another object or a wall. You can also rotate objects for 360°
3.Press the Right Square Bracket Key [ to size up an object and the Left Square Bracket Key ] to size down an object.
4.The object will move up incrementally, so keep hitting 9 until it is at the height you desire. To lower the object, press 0. If you have your game set to “Sims3” camera controls, you need to hit CTRL+9 and CTRL+0 at the same time.
These are incredible!! I’ve bulldozed or given up on so many builds from frustration trying to configure a layout to fit stairs etc.. guess I’ll go turn my computer on and try some of these out..😬 thank you!

This is brilliant and I will definitely be watching it a few times to try out the different styles. I almost always just do basic stairs because I get so frustrated with making them work with the vision I have in my head. You’ve made it look so easy.

I have no intuition when it comes to building in the sims 4, but I love to do it. I tried the last stair option you show in this tutorial and I love the outcome. However, when I tried to add the second story, I couldn't get the game to recognize a floor because of the room below. Would you be able to explain how to add the second floor after making the stairs? You're amazing!

The thing is that all of these wonderful ideas require lots of lot space due to the way stair configuring tool works. I wish they would finally come out with spiral staircases, it just makes sense in tight builds. All they need do is make an obligatory three height models and that's it. Ok well, thank you for these fantastic ideas. 👍

Something you can’t really see in the video is how broken curved platforms are if you try to put flooring underneath it. You can sort of see it on the fourth tutorial how the floor tiles are broken. I really wish they’d fix this.

I’ve been trying to learn about stairs. But I gave up. Your build, Peppers Pub in Britechester doesn’t have the stairs finished and I would love to use it for the apartment above. Please rework it somehow. Maybe copy and add the second part of the stairs and put it up on the gallery. I love the build!!!
