I have to say Core tackle products do work I’ve several of all types I use a small Berkeley sick fish in winter haven’t been able to find any hook besides a 1/8 oz keitech jig head but Core tackle are good products not a gimmick thanks Matt.
Thanx Matt. A little late to the game but going tomorrow and I have the small tush rigged. My first time trying it. What a coincidence you put this video out. I have it in the Yum Scottsboro.
GENIUS! I have and use Core products. Why at my age am I just learning this stuff. Probably because when younger I was too full of myself to think that I didn’t know everything. (Plus, the internet hadn’t been invented yet, let alone UA-cam.)
The T.U.S.H. is the only swimbait hook I use now. It has generated more bites and catches, this year, than any other I have used in the past. The swimjig, too, is incredible; same results with it. Bass will eat it. Core Tackle products are absolutely great products and I recommend them to everyone I talk fishing with. I work at Academy Sports and Core Tackle products are available there now, except for the swimjig, sadly. I hope they will continue to be sold there. I get emails saying to get them before the partnership ends. Hope it doesn't end. Thanks for a great product. Looking forward to seeing what else Core Tackle may bring to the bass fishing party. Happy Thanksgiving Matt!!!
You should make a scrounger head with the weight incased inside a plastic so it’ll be perfectly tuned and also won’t rot and break off the lead head because it’s stretched so tightly on it. Tungsten would probably be better because it can be kept smaller to fit inside the plastic.
the 1/4 is a little big for the 3.3 keitechs since the material is very soft. it fits fine in the 3.8 size. But the biggest is use int he 3.3 keitech is the 3/16 oz
to this day I still have trouble not using your Guppie head, I love it, but now i am switching over to the TUSH but it has taken a little time but this fall was good for the TUSH so Im stocking up and next year will live and die by that head.
Howdy MS, hope all is well. I fell in love with the TUSH this summer 😊. Fished it all over WI. After trying different sizes and plastics, my go to is the 1/8, 2/O paired with the 3" Mayor from Crush City! It would be cool if Core Tackle made plastics that were designed for internal weights. Cheers, JJ
@@MattStefanFishing What!? That is huge. I musta missed the big announcement. I have confidence that your products will be outstanding. Really looking forward to that.
I think the Tush Set Up makes swim baits with "Eye's" look more realistic. I just do not like having a swim bait with an Eye on it matched up with a Jig head that has an Eye on it...
Why are boot tails not used more in FFS using the Tush, wouldn’t it be a good option with the rolling action created by the Tush hook. I have not fished using FFS but everything you see is straight tail minnows being used. I have just got a FFS unit and was wondering why you only see straight tail minnows used.
I need to give mine another try. The only action I got from using the tush was my lure constantly spinning. It looks like you are rigging it on the top of the head of the lure.
I love the TUSH. Pairing the right size TUSH with the right size Sakamata shad makes the shad swim like a herring. Swim them fast, and the bass come unglued.
I’ve got 3-4 packs of each 4/0 3/8oz TUSH and 3/0 3/32 oz hover rig. What is the best baits to put on these hooks? I’ve had them all year and never used them yet.
Hey Matt. If/when you get the chance can you let me know which tush you.would recommend for the new working class zero citizen micro that just dropped today at the hook up tackle. You being a tackle junkie I would assume you will get your hands on some at some point.
@Daiwa_Is_King I didn't get any but plan to get some before spring. I don't like the look of that titan hook but I think some form of tush would pair up perfectly
@MattStefanFishing they look fantastic. I think my Kansas smallies will munch them but I'm not a fan of beast style hooks. Want and exposed hook for sure
I found some hooks that have lead on the shanks but the eyes are regular line ties, straight. I think 4 Horsemen made them and they're for using under popping corks. But you might want to play with them without the cork.
Then you're missing out on one of the most innovative and important things to come along for swimbaits. A swimbait rigged with a tush hook has been on my deck every trip since they came out and I've lost track of the number of fish it's accounted for. I was fishing with a good friend of mine about 6 months ago who happens to be one of the top guides here in central florida. The swim bait bite was on that day but he couldn't believe that I was out fishing him 2 to 1 and finally asked to see what I was doing. He tied one on and became a believer VERY quickly
You've persuaded me to try TUSH. I'm putting them on my Xmas list and looking forward to spring. Thanks for another fine video with interesting info
Happy holidays!

Thanks for the support!
I can’t wait to use My Tush and the working class zero micro. love the tush❤
Have fun!

haha got to love the internet

I hope it doesnt end as well. We love having our products at Academy
Been using since Core started!
Awesome!
Matt: I’m in Georgia and will be heading to Academy Sports. I understand they handle Core products. Can’t wait to find them and use them! God Bless.
Yes they do! There should be a sidekick display hanging with just core tackle products. Thanks for the support!
@@MattStefanFishing I found the display and bought a number (lots) of items. I hope to try them from the shore of Lake Lanier. 😊😊
Great video!!! Agree 100% the TUSH is the way to go. Great action!!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!! 🤠👍
Thanks 👍
Ok sweet, I was wondering exactly that. Thank you sir 🫡
You are welcome
Thanks Matt for the swimbait tips 👍🏻
You bet!

You never know haha
I think it looks more natural lifelike when sinking 🤗
Agreed
Yay Tush hooks! 😃
I love them!
Matt - are you able to rig the 1/4 oz finesse TUSH on Keitech 3.3’s? Whenever I try to rig it, I tear the bait to shreds. Am I doing it wrong? Thanks!
the 1/4 is a little big for the 3.3 keitechs since the material is very soft. it fits fine in the 3.8 size. But the biggest is use int he 3.3 keitech is the 3/16 oz

we are working on plastics

Works great with FFS

The rush goes thru the nose of the bait. The hover rig is inserted an 1/8” behind the head
8:13 😮
Thanks for watching
They should be good on a A-Rig also..💡
That’s an interesting thought. I’ll have to check out the possibility as I just bought an A rig and have yet to set it up.
They work great. I put 1/8th oz on bottom 3, 1/16th oz on top 2.
I love the TUSH. Pairing the right size TUSH with the right size Sakamata shad makes the shad swim like a herring. Swim them fast, and the bass come unglued.
its killer on the A-rig. We specifically made the 2/0 hook 1/16 for the top arms of an a-rig
That Tush is good stuff Matt, hope it helps you get a ton of money.
me too haha
I love the tush swimbait hook that baby's badass
Yep!
Gonna try them in the WCZ Citizens.
awesome
I often find some bass just getting skin hooked in the mouth, but on occasion some inhale the swim bait I am using
try a slower action rod and you probably wont skin hook as many
I’ve got 3-4 packs of each 4/0 3/8oz TUSH and 3/0 3/32 oz hover rig.

Try the swimbait in this video by raid on the 4/0 rush. Link is in the video for the bait.try the 5” keitech Shad impact on the hover rig
Thanks Matt I appreciate it.
Looking forward to that 4” Raid bait setup.

I got 3 packs of every color super stoked that I’ll have some to fish now and well into spring.
@Daiwa_Is_King I didn't get any but plan to get some before spring. I don't like the look of that titan hook but I think some form of tush would pair up perfectly
I haven’t seen them yet!
@MattStefanFishing they look fantastic. I think my Kansas smallies will munch them but I'm not a fan of beast style hooks. Want and exposed hook for sure
Ever stuck one in a Hula grub. 🤔🤔
I haven’t but i love the idea
Just need tungsten to take it to the next level 🍻🎣🍀
Still evaluating
👍👍👍👍👍

ill check them out
🍺👍🤠.
Thanks!
Sorry Matt, I can't see spending more than $2.00 on a single hook.
thats not even expensive anymore

It's actually a hook with an integrated weight ...😮
