- That is really very rare in the Netherlands! Risey is making strange noises. The Smallest Horse is back a few days. She plays with the dogs and escapes! Glendy is not doing well... I'm doing a lot about it, but I don't know if it's enough, hopefully the medication will work... I don't need any further advice...

I'm so sorry to hear of Glendy's injury, she is such a sweet little mare and a wonderful mother. I know that you've done your best for her and wish that there was a better prognosis. Such difficult decisions loom over your head. I wish you much strength and fortitude as you care for all your equines. I'm also sending hugs over the loss of Dribble, the cutest orange fluff that ever was. This is part of the package when we have animals, but it does not make it any easier. x

We are all enjoying Risey’s “talkativeness” it’s cute as can be.
Yvonne, take comfort in the knowledge that you are a kind and careful caretaker for all your sweet creatures. Knowing what’s best for them is the burden for you but a gift for them. Risey is becoming a wonderful comedian. To me he seems happier and happier as time passes - less anxiety, less stress - and more engagement in his world as it is now for him.
Risey is such a good and sweet boy! And you can tell how much he loves Yvonne too. He comes to her when he is happy, but also when he is scared. He knows who his human mama is. He is also so gentle with the smaller horses. He truly is a treasure. ♥♥♥

Risey is so sweet and gentle with the ponies❤️. All the other horses look down on them but Risey sees eye to eye with them.
Watching Shiney run around I am amazed at how fast she moves. Diewke has a brand new friend to play with!
When RS first arrived at Stal H, he'd neigh loudly. After a few months, he started snorting instead and now, he is softly squealing. Definitely the most vocal horse, always interesting to hear him "talk".

Would Glendy not benefit with total restriction in an area? I know when my Joey has his bouts of IVDD he is put into his pen on total bed rest with Gabapentin and only allowed outside to potty. He is restricted to his pen for 6 to 8 wks. Risey looks good and seems to be very happy and I think he loves his new friend, Spidey. Nice to see Shiney again, such an adorable horse. Continued prayers for you, Glendy, Risey and boss Rein.

Was that Risey? he also did his snorts and purring . little sounds of pleasure. wouldn’t it be fun if he became the famous talking horse , Red Rising Star? A horse is a horse of course ,of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course , that is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Risey Red ( the verses are from a very old tv show about a talking horse Mr Ed.) ;) LOL❤

I don't know exactly how it's happened, but since Yvonne brought Risey & the Friesians home, they have transformed into some absolutely beautiful horses.
The grass and the pellets at Stal H must be magickal! 🪄🔮🍀
The horse's coats are as shiny as glass. I've noticed that the fetlocks on the Friesians have grown and filled out so much on their legs. Their manes are also filling in since the horses aren't putting their heads through narrower bars to eat in the Stal G Stable.
I've seen quite a transformation at Stal H. Goedzo, Yvonne!

Risey is such a good natured boy. He tolerates the little ponies eating his hay and poking their noses into his stall. Really sorry to hear about Glendy. It’s hard to imagine how she got injured like this. Dieuwke is amazing how she likes to run and play with the ponies, she really thinks they are other doggies.

I'm very sorry that Glendy came up lame. I know that whatever you choose -- or have chosen -- for her will be the best thing.... Risey is looking gorgeous despite his wobblers. When he tosses his head he looks like an amazing stallion. That noise he makes when Spidey visits him is so interesting! I hope they're continuing to be friends.

Spidey is a little entertainment sideshow. Every time he's been on camera , from the day he was born, he's done adorable things. His foal romps with Dieuwke are classic. He seems to interact sweetly with everybody. The new Risey connection is 💖💖💖. Shiney is also so smoochy like a plush toy. Nothing doll-like about his gallop, though. Who knew those tiny hooves could fire up like Secretariat? Teije is a such an observational, thoughtful child, with his parents' astuteness as well as their work ethic. Very sorry that Glendy is so ill, but she is in the best hands, we know.
