It's "easy" to copy a game, but hard for those who strive to create original contents. Nowadays, you have the access to all tools which make really it easier to build a game. (Not like you need to write all the functionalities based on c and opengl). You have done a good job, but "it not easy at all to make a good game".

Then come a guy and say that is easy to make a game, to make a little project is easy but to make something good that people will like isn't.
For the guys feeling badly when Tren says its "easy": just keep in mind, most his stuff was ripped from other games, or he followed quick tutorials. If it came down to raw, unassisted development, your game degrees would outshine Tren.

i mean i know its a joke but that game and client took a lot of effort, i mean obviously, but what else can you expect from professional developers, animators and designers that have a budget of millions of dollars, which is the reason why the client should have less bugs of course.
Nicely done! The programming aspects of game dev for the most part isnt too bad (unless you want to make it online and not shit lol). The biggest difficulty is mostly design related stuff. It's a big time commitment since, if you're doing this solo, you're designing the play loop, levels, characters (inc. Art / assets), enemies / ai patterns, music, etc.

I didn't think I would ever tell this, but please next time make the video longer. It's interesting to see how you implement all those things in detail, which software you used, which problems you encountered etc. Right now it's just - oh, I made this, then I made this, then I made this. Although it's a huge amount of work, it doesn't seem so interesting when you put it this way
But if you have a degree in that field than you should know that there is more to being a game dev. It is "easy" to learn to work with Unity. Making a good game on the other hand is not.

To make the mini map better: make a cube and make it a child of the player. Make it flat and wide so like a floating square on top of him. Then make it so only the minimap camera can see it. U can even make the shape an arrow instead of a square.
