Samsung Frame TV Wall mount provides a very beautiful mounting for Frame TVs that provides almost zero gaps between the wall and the TV. Samsung was able to market the Frame TV wall mount to other Samsung TVs by introducing the Slim Fit Wall mounts. It turns out the wall mounts are the same with the caveat of extra hardware that comes with the wall mounts. The major difference between the two is the extra or various M8 bolts that come with the Samsung Slim Fit wall mount.
Overall, the Frame TV wall mount and the Slim fit wall mount are the same. It is possible to make the Frame TV wall mount work with other Samsung 2021 TV versions if you can find the proper M8 bolts that are appropriate for your Samsung Frame TV.
I was able to mount my Samsung QLED TV Q60A 70 on TV using the Frame TV Wall mount using the proper M8 bolts. The price difference between the Frame TV wall mount and the Slim Fit wall mount is quite astonishing. You can easily buy the Frame TV wall mount on eBay for about $50 or below. Meanwhile, the Samsung Slim fit wall mount will set you back around $130 or higher.
hi, i have a question, do you know what's difference of the gap from the back of the tv and the wall if you are using the 2 different mounts? is that the same gap? or the 2021 version is closer? thanks
The 2021 version is much more flushed to the wall. Easier to install too.
How long is the longest m8 bolt? Just wondering if I can use this in other brands’ TV.
That I am not sure if you can use this on other brands. Probably only samsung brands that are listed in the manual.
