Vidwan Saketharaman is a performing musician of Carnatic music in India. He is a disciple of Padmabhushan Sri.Lalgudi Jayaraman. His Pallavis are outstanding for their rich aesthetic and mathematical permutations and combinations, with scintillating ragamalika swaraprasthara showcasing his scholarship and creativity. He has composed more than 100 RTP in many ragas and tricky thalas. His style of winding up the concert with a thillana composed by his Guru Lalgudi Jayaraman is well known. His elder sister, Vishaka Hari is a well known Harikatha exponent. Saketharaman is an A-Grade artist of AIR. He has numerous awards to his credit and has performed extensively in almost all leading Sabhas in India and abroad.
