    I know I've touched on this subject before in our Vlogs, but here is an in depth review of our shop management process. Also, I'm hoping to see what we need incorporated into Cam's shop management software so we can put it to use. Like, leave a comment (even if it's a hello), and share so we can continue to grow our channel.

    I've been trying to find something that works and isn't hundreds of dollars. Right now I use quickbooks for invoicing and financial stuff and Asana for project management. I made a video on how I use asana for keeping up with jobs. Its not perfect but its a free software for what we do.

      I'll have to take a look at Asana. I used QuickBooks self-employed for my financials and tax filing. Works really well, keeps track of my miles and all expenses from every account I have.

    hey i got a question;
    for your partner facilities, do you tell your customers that you are outsourcing certain products, or do you just price them according to your mark up? I have a home set up and i outsource certain services like dtg/embroidery. If and when i get DTG/embroidery orders, im unsure if i should tell my clients that certain products are outsourced. Thanks for your help! I really like the manual system that you have. Im going to use it in my shop to keep myself organized.

      We keep a don't ask don't tell policy. If the client wanted to know, we would be honest. If the order was late because of outsourced vendor, we would bring that up.

    Question for ya if you don't mind? When you outsource embroidery and promotional products do you just use a local rep? I get calls for embroidery all the time but know NOTHING about it haha. Thanks for all the awesome videos.

      Dan Dipo I do. We’ll, a local competitor. Since we bring them so much work, we have B2B pricing with them. They charge about $3. So we make our profit off the mark up of the garment, which is generally 100%, and the $50 digitizing fee, which guys over seas so for $10. Their turnaround is about 2-3 hours from the guys over seas with the digitizing. We even do the same thing with screen printing if it’s more than a 6 color job. Easy money. Promotional products can be any where from 10-50% markup depending on the item. We’ll do a live video / class on that in the near future. Need to get a decent web cam.

    for CAM of the Print Life: I like Mikey"s ideas except I want the estimating to require human face-to-face contact. There are times when I have adjusted my pricing downward to better serve a community, individual.

      That would work for us too. We need a way to quote quickly when clients walk in instead of manually adding up shirt and print costs. Same goes for clients emailing. The other feature would be for clients to order online without having to fill out a form and sending it to us and going back and forth figuring out what it is what they want. If that makes sense.

    Hey Mikey you're one of the best channels for screen printing, I've learned a lot from you. Can you give me some advice on how to get photoshop and illustrator what are my options. Or I better say what do you recommend. Legal options. Have a great weekend. Thanks
