Nice nice very nice. I don’t have so much of space and so many different types of succulant but I feel very much happy to see. Just like people feel happy to read a good book.

The only thing about propagation is finding places to put them! I have my cacti in small pots and wish they would stay relatively small. You have some beautiful plants!!
Hi Ms Ems, spring.time is.coming. so im sure.your succulent garden will be very colorful again. For now even if they are not as colorful but they are still.so.gorgeous. so im so.excited for your.new.arrangements and , looking forward for your colorful uploads.
Hi Amora it’s been 2 weeks of Spring now but we still hardly seen the sunshine and OMG the rain won’t stop.I’m trying to clean up the backyard garden but this weather we have at the moment is stopping me to finish it. But anyway I’m still excited when the sun decided to come out one day lol 😆. Thank you for dropping by my friend 🙏
I still remember when you planted those Ems. I am inspired with a lot of cuttings you got. I will try to do the same (planting in the ground) for some echeverias . I did it with kalanchoe fedtschenkoi and it grow like weeds. I love your sedum clavatum and your aeonium sunburst. I am struggling growing those. But never give up 😊. Thanks for sharing a very encouraging video. 🌷❣️🥀⚘️
Hi Emie, it’s really rewarding planting them in the ground they grow more pups. I noticed that The Aeonium sunburst grows better in the ground too with indirect sunlight . That’s the spirit my friend don’t give up and Thank you Emie for dropping by😊🥰
OOoo Ems, your gardens and succulents are looking so beautiful. I have to say the aeoniums are fast becoming my favourites. Slowly I am getting the more sort after ones. Iam happy to send you a cutting of Pink Witch if you dont have one. Iam in Victoria so not so far away. Happy Spring🌻
Hi Ladonna thank you so much my friend 😊.Aeonium is also one of my favourite succulent they give a nice height to my succulent tapestry arrangement and the different colour and sizes of leafs are incredibly amazing 😁.it’s so nice of you sharing your Aeonium Pink witch with me. I really appreciate it🥰.I seen that there’s a lot of new beautiful varieties of Aeonium in the market. For now they are just in my wish list. I will wait until they become affordable with in my budget 😁. Happy gardening and happy spring my friend. Do you want any cuttings in my succulent that you don’t have yet ? I can share some with you as well😊
All of the lovely rose looks amazing in the clump, you did well creating them all Ems. I always cringe a little doing the head chops, but it doesn't take long for the benefits pay off doesn't it. It's a good time during spring to see all the succulents properly, and to see the ones that haven't survived the winter. It's a little disappointing to lose some, but the ones that flourish make up for it.
Thank you Penny 😊. I was hesitant doing beheading at first but since I saw the good results then I just enjoyed doing it. doesn’t take long to produce off spring this way. But there are some succulents that takes awhile to produce pups like the Echeveria blue bird. I was happy this time coz I didn’t loose a lot of succulent compared to last winter season. Just try to beheaded one of your least favourite succulent and you can experience it yourself. Just make sure leave some few leaf on the stump for the plant to continue the photosynthesis. It takes at-least 4 to 6 weeks for the plant to develop baby plants
Thank you Rebecca 😊. I’m also learning day by day taking care and growing succulent. And I love sharing it with you all. I’m so glad and happy you find it valuable. 🥰
So many head chops to multiply your succies I love how huge your suyon is, as well as your clavatum. Our intense frosts of minus 5 to 8 this winter really affected some of my plants. I'm still sad that I didn't move my huge pot of S. Clavatum in time, a large portion of it was frost damaged. As well as some with my Suyon, so its chop chop the dead parts and start again. That's why here in Canberra, if we don't move our plants under cover many term to mush.
Hi Evelyn thank you, I will be very busy potting up all of this stem cuttings lol. I realise that Canberra has a worst frost than where I am. But I still worried when there is frost forecast I tried to cover them up.Specially those succulents that are already big and established.
Hello Ems, i'm Carine from Belgium. Since a big month ago i learned to know succulents. Now i already have two growlights with some leave cuttings an i als put some succulents under it because i didn't know they needed plenty of light. Now because of my health i don't leave my house as much as one does. Only in the vacation i go to my brothers at the belgium coast but also there i stay most of the time indoors. As i lost my heart to succulents i started to google on UA-cam and i found you. So amazing how you care for your plants and sooooo beautifull. I have a garden as well and i love to plant some succulents there as well, but i don't know how or where to start. It makes me nervous being this clueless. In Belgium in rains a lot so i do not know if i can even keep succulents in mij garden. I do not have a roof in mij garden where i can put succulents under to keep dry. Maybe you can help me to get me littlebit started. Now it's still winter here untill march 22 then spring starts. Keep making those lovely videos i love watching you gardning ... also i wish you and your family a good and health any many more plants in 2023. Greetz Carine
Hi Carine welcome and thank you for visiting my Channel. Some of my succulent are planted outdoor without any sort of protection, but I make it sure before I planted them outdoor they are already acclimated. And I only plant tougher succulent outdoor. With those sensitive one and can’t handle frost I gave them some sort of protection like shade cloth .but mainly the protection are for frost and hail. We also get a lot of rain here during winter time but some of my succulent loving the rain. If the succulent don’t survive on me with few tries of growing then I’m not going to buy it again. What sort of weather do you have in Belgium? Pls watch some of my old videos maybe you can get few tips from it. I tried to position my plant in direct morning sun to give them nice colour and stay compact form .
@@Emshomesucculentgarden Goodmorning Ems, so glad you answered 😇. In Belgium we have a lot of rain, sometimes havy rain. Hi Carine,Im so glad to know that what I share in my UA-cam channel and videos I share here makes you happy and entertained. And I hope that one day all your pains and aches will disappear. And yes growing succulent are very challenging when you live in a country that rains a lot. Gutter is a good idea to plant succulent because they are shallow and use less soil and the soil will easily dry that’s what I’ve noticed with mine. But during summer I have to water them frequently at least twice in a week.I have a lot of common succulent but we can turn them into a beautiful arrangement. Rare and variegated succulent are expensive and that is why I only have few of them. It’s fun to put succulent in a beautiful and small pots for display. Before work I always look at my succulent shelving with those beautiful little pots. And yes working with plants specially succulent can divert your attention.
