what if you want to dress goth but your parents wont let you because they think its demonic and not appropriate.... i want to dress more goth but my parents refuse to let me... all i wear are black shirts and thats about it
You won't be living with your parents forever. One of the best parts about growing up is having the freedom and money to express yourself. Hang in there ❤
Remember that its about the mindset/values, politics and music. You can definitely wear goth fashion but you will always be apart of the community as long as you have the values. As for the fashion, try maybe band tees and patch jackets/pants. They aren’t that “out there” but they can still be an expression of you. You can also try super flowy, plain black clothes rather than basic t shirts or jeans. If you prefer a tighter fit try black denim shorts and put ripped tights on under them, paired with black boots, a band tee and a patched up jacket/vest!
I'm just curious and stuff but like if you follow everything else like listen to the music, follow up with the politics but if you don't have the money to buy proper clothed would you not be a goth if you bought off of shein? Or like any fast fashion?

Goth beliefs are explicitly against fast fashion. Yes, you would still be a goth, but it would go against one of the most important political beliefs.
