    Hell, I have a question
    Can a normal user with eligible permission can himself update it to active ?
    Or
    Only admins can do it ?

    • @RaviTejaMureboina
      @RaviTejaMureboina  Місяць тому

      Good Day,
      Yes, a normal user with eligible permissions can update their status to Active in Azure Active Directory, depending on the policies and permissions configured by administrators.
      I hope this helps
      Thank you

    Can we add the different domain mail id users to the same tenant /AAD bro..please confirm.

    • @RaviTejaMureboina
      @RaviTejaMureboina  Рік тому

      Yes, it is possible to add users from different domains to the same Azure Active Directory (AAD) tenant.
      In AAD, a tenant represents a dedicated and isolated instance of an Azure AD service, and it's used to manage users and applications for your organization.
      By default, when you create an Azure subscription, a new Azure AD tenant is created for you. You can add users to this tenant by inviting them using their email addresses, and the email addresses can be from different domains.
      Once users are added to the AAD tenant, they can be assigned roles and permissions within the tenant and can be used to sign in to Azure resources, such as Azure portals, Azure services, and applications integrated with Azure AD.
      I hope I answered your question.

      @@RaviTejaMureboina thanks for the valid info. But the main doubt is here, can those users login to the third party application when we integrate azure with powerbi and later step we embedd the pbi reports to third party business application?.this is the main clarity we need Bro. Appreciate if we get solution from you bro.

    • @RaviTejaMureboina
      @RaviTejaMureboina  Рік тому

      Yes, users can login to a third-party application when you integrate Azure Active Directory (AAD) with PowerBI and later embed PowerBI reports in the third-party business application.
      With AAD integration, you can use a single sign-on (SSO) experience for users to access PowerBI reports within the third-party application. This means that users don't need to sign in again when accessing the reports, as they can use their existing AAD credentials.
      To set this up, the third-party application needs to support SSO with AAD, and you need to configure the integration between AAD and PowerBI. The process of embedding PowerBI reports in a third-party application depends on the specific platform and its capabilities.
      It's important to note that to access PowerBI reports, users need to have the appropriate PowerBI licenses and permissions to access the specific reports. You'll need to manage and assign these licenses and permissions within AAD.
      I hope this helps

      What is your role in the portal? Are there any conditional access policies applied to the tenant?
      If you are not a guest user, you may be a non-admin user of your Azure AD.
      And the admin of your company may have restricted access to the Azure AD admin portal for non-admin users by selecting "Yes" in the user settings.
      If this is the case, there are two methods to solve this issue:
      1)Add your account as an admin of AAD by following To assign a role to a user.
      2)If you are not allowed to be the admin of your company, the admin needs to close the restriction by selecting "No." Then you can access the Azure Active directory as a non-admin user.
      Otherwise, my guess is that there is another policy in place or a permissions issue.
      please check the below reference for more information.
      I hope I have answered your question

I set up my Azure account, I assume I have full administrative capacity, but I have no idea how to determine that and am baffled that the Azure account I set up restricts administrative rights. How do I determine if I'm a non-admin user of my Azure Active Directory? Thanks for the content.
