Stop saying Hip Hop in SA is 10 years old in these interviews... please. We just celebrated 40yrs at BTTC. Lets respect our pioneers.
Respect to blxckie one SA top guys now in the hip pop scene but hip has been around since the late 80s in SA to all the young cats...
I think he maybe is relating to the trap typa wave or at least the sound he is on...
But shout out to the classic SA hip hop tho much respect
I think they're alluding to it garnering the mainstream attention within the last 10 years
BLXCKIE JUST LOST ALL MY RESPECT 🚮🚮🚮🚮
The hottest! The greatest!🤞🏿💚💚

SA Hip Hop is 40 years old!
Actually hip hop in SA is 44 years old it started in 1980🫠
Somnyama Yena Yedwa.
Its only inthe last plus minus 20 yrs when american influence way of hip pop started poping in SA but hip pop in SA is since the late 80s P.O.C...black noise...much more artist...
Blxckie is my guy but saying SA hip hop is 10 years is disappointing coming from him atleast he should have said 20 or more
Why did Blvckie say Hip Hop is 10 years old in S.A? 😢. I was so disappointed in him. The fact that he doesn't know the likes of Amu, TKZee and Swatta Kamp tells you that, this guy is more influenced by Americans 😮
Bro said SA hip hop is 10 years?😂😂
BROOOOOOO
People don't know about P.O.C ??? Only artists allowed to perform for Nelson Mandelas inauguration. They were doing hip hop before Casper N was born
I would say I don't know much about POC but I'm willing to learn more about them!
Legend's Ismail from Skeem was in P.O.C Prophets Of Da City. Even Zola Said gave them their flowers. Their song Never again was about Nelson Mandela. They were even banned by apartheid government
Dude 10yrs😂
He's not the right person to promote SA hip hop
Too Americanised in the brain 😢
