- Meet our friends Jenn & Elliot, also known as @SchoandJo! These two, plus their sweet pup Ollie, live full time on their boat PIVOT and have the goal to complete America's Great Loop, a 6,000 mile boating journey around the US!
After being internet friends for over a year, we headed to Crisfield, Maryland where they were docked to meet them in real life! We spent 3 days learning about boat life, eating delicious meals, having game nights, celebrating Adam's birthday, learning how to drive a dingy, seeing killer sunsets, trying crab cakes in the Crab Capital of the World, and more! It was a BLAST and we are so thankful for their friendship!

This video gave us so many good feels! We couldn’t stop smiling while watching this bc it brought back so many good memories of our time together with you guys! Meeting you guys in person was a highlight of our year and we can’t wait for you guys to visit us aboard PIVOT again. You guys are even MORE AMZING in real life than online and we can’t wait to make more fun memories together!

Y'all making me cry! First your in my home state, and your having my most favorite food of all time- crabs!! I miss those Maryland crabcakes! If you ever get to stop in or go by Annapolis, you should stop in at The Diner off of Rt 50 and Rt 2. Great crabcakes and a desert bar to die for of all homemade deserts! 👌

So this was a very unique (in a good way) vlog! It was fun meeting Scho & Jo...they seem pretty awesome! The crab cakes looked really good...better than the Lobster you had maybe? Looks like you had a bunch of really good food...now I'm getting hungry! I really enjoyed the boat tour...thats so fun you got to sleep and shower on the boat! Happy birthday to Adam again! I loved this episode. I love cruises, I'm sure I would have enjoyed this. Being on the water is a whole kinda different sense of peace. The waves make me feel like I'm in an adult cradle.

Great video! I still stand by my statement a few months ago: ya’all are boat people, but just don’t know it yet! Come to the darkside! As you see we have more space than a van and way more room for ice cream!

We are more mountain people than sea people, but the boat was a ton of fun and I guess we should never say never since we didn’t ever think we’d live in a van either!

So envious of your experience doing this! ❤️ Travel is great, but when the opportunity arises to do something that you can't just book through a company, it's amazing, and when it's an experience very foreign to what you're used to - even better. Though I appreciate what you said about Jenn and Elliot having a lot in common with you living a Nomadic lifestyle and being content creators on UA-cam. With all the will in the world, I'd never have been able to sleep in the position where Adam was, and I question whether I'd have been able to stomach being where you were Kathryn! It was so much fun getting to experience something so new to us and learn more about how our friends live on the water. It was one of our favorite experiences of the year! The Chesapeake is amazing! We spent a lot of time there on the water before we moved to Germany. We were near Deale and Rose Haven though, on the other side of the bay. We really love spending time on the bay.

The brackish water of the Chesapeake Bay runs through my veins and last year my husband and I even went over to Smith Island for cake! I’m glad you both enjoyed your time on the Bay and thanks for introducing us to another wonderful YT couple!
That is so awesome!!! We would’ve loved to have gone to Smith Island. Jenn and Elliot were there when Elliot broke his wrist months ago and were able to try the cake straight from the island.
I love the Chesapeake Bay Area! You guys are so lucky to know some friends here in Maryland with a boat! I loved this tour. Whenever I get to go by the water I always love watching them sail. 😊😊

Great vlog. There is a lot to do along the DelMarVa peninsula. At the southern end, where the Bay Bridge Tunnel is, was an Air Force Radar station, Cape Charles AFS. I spent 2 years there, now it is a wildlife sanctuary. Happy birthday, Adam. Until next time... Travel Safe

I always feel like operating a boat is so intimidating! So many random things you have to keep track of and simple things like parking seem complicated.
Glad you are making a stop an hour from me at Mammoth Caves! I know you've already filmed it, but hopefully you try some Bourbon when you are in the area (or if you don't drink, typical KY things like Derby pie or a Hot Brown)!
It is very intimidating! We always say that van life is challenging and requires many daily decisions, but boat life is that x10, since boating itself isn't as intuitive as driving a vehicle and everything is more complex on the water. Super proud of them for tackling this!
We had a hot brown burger last time we were in KY! Our experience in KY this time went quite a bit different than planned unfortunately haha.

Great collab with what seems like some amazing UA-camrs, definitely need to check out their channel! Not your typical content but I really like it. I’m amazed at boating since I never grew up around the water and it seems like a unique way to explore the world. And the Indian food looks so yummy, especially those deserts.

It definitely felt different to us too! It was much more relaxed than normal and was more of us just kind of going with the flow, which isn’t how it always goes haha. Usually we have a set plan of what to film and important things to say and are rushing around to get all of the shots we need.
We are so glad you enjoyed it though. It was a very nice change of pace for us to get to be with friends and just unwind a bit!
