- Scorsese has had one hell of a career. From his origins in the 70s, to the titan of the industry he is today, he's been a constant presence in modern filmmaking. Working with numerous actors, such as DeNiro and DiCaprio, and receiving an untold amount of critical acclaim, Martin Scorsese has certainly devoted his life to cinema.
This is a documentary made by the Archer Green channel. Compiling, editing and mixing multiple different assets from a wide range of sources together to form a unique narrative regarding the career of Martin Scorsese - Фільми й анімація
2 mins into this and I can tell I'm going to enjoy it so imma make some breakfast and coffee n get my self comfortable, back in 10.
I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers.
@@AnxietyMentor No problem, Jimmy Two Times ;)
@@AnxietyMentor what’s this a reference to? Sounds so familiar
i do NOT care
@@stevencandelario6514 phahaha what?
hands down best tribute to Scorsese I’ve ever seen. Your understanding of his work literally shines through the screen. Powerful stuff man
His passion is so rare nowadays. A lot of people I knew weren't too enthusiastic about the length of his last film, but my god, it's as if he never skipped a beat. The day he stops directing will be tragedy in the world of modern art.
Tarantino is one of the few who's still like that.
@@IronMan-tk8uc Personally I've enjoyed movies Tarantino stole from more than what he came up with by mixing them.
@@IronMan-tk8uc He's a great, but he's too far up his own ass. Imagine if Scorsese said "I'll make 10 movies, then kinda dip out." Scorsese breathes this shit, it isn't a game or a way to build ego, it's him.
@@NyolateAMV Cute, if reductive. Shame Tarantino gets credit for original screenplays and directing from other directors, if only they also knew he likes spaghetti westerns and Elmore Leonard.
@@NyolateAMV C'mon, that old Tarantino steals trope? The only director that wasn't influenced by others, informed by others, borrowed from others, made homage to others, or made parody was Eadweard Muybridge.
It's like saying the Rolling Stones were a two bit band because they were informed by, made homage to, and borrowed from blues, along with many other "pioneers" of rock and roll. And I know Marty will take umbrage with that one.
How about you steal an original thought?
The fact that Scorsese has been around for so long and still puts out stellar work has to say something about the man's talent
Tarantino has said he believes there is only one director who had consistently put out good films. I think he's wrong. Scorsese and others have continued to put out good films despite their age.
(The one I believe was Kubrick)
It’s insane that he’s got a masterpiece from 1976 and another from 2019
@@mcmurphy809 Ah great point
Passion is what gives life meaning, Scorsese has the most passion. Not in a stark-raving mad way like Tarantino or Tom Platz, but in a way that casually permeates his being. You captured this perfectly, and it honestly gave me a bright vision for the future, and my future.
Wow, this video shot to the top of my channel. Thank you so much for all the kind words, I really do appreciate it. Much Love
well deserved
Excellent work. You've done great research and edited clips together very well. You didn't just throw cool clips from his movies up for the hell of it - you chose them each for a reason. And you did some deep research to find good interviews and you let him and his interviews speak for themselves, no unnecessary voice over. Great work!
Thank you so much, I wanted to show the progression of his career while also highlighting his personal ethos when it comes to filmmaking :)
As a 21 year old, this is such a lovely insight into the full context of Scorsese and how he came to be so notorious. Damn he's such a cool dude, even in his 80s. Many thanks mate!
Awesome tribute to one the greatest filmmakers. Scorsese has been a giant inspiration to me and made me fall in love cinema in a way i cant explain. Love him and love your video!
Thanks a ton! He's certainly one of the most important figures in modern cinema
Do you think you’re better than me
So you ended up as a porn actress?
I really enjoyed this video tribute to Martin Scorsese. I can tell that a lot of research and thought went into the selection and arrangement of the clips, and I appreciated the lack of unnecessary voiceover. Scorsese's passion and talent are truly inspiring, and I feel lucky to have been able to experience his movies in my lifetime. I hope that this channel receives the recognition it deserves for the high quality content it produces.
Keep doing what you’re doing! Your channel feels like it should have hundreds of thousands of subs….really amazing stuff thank you! :)
Thank you so much for your support :)
When he gave a very measured critique of Marvel movies a bunch of people were like "Who!? Is this guy even relevant!?" all of those people deserved a very hard shot to the face and a Scorsese box-set. Nobody has _more_ of a right to criticize movies than this guy.
I totally agree, and i very much enjoy Marvel flicks and this so called spectacle, people have no idea what they are talking about when they sh*t on Scorsese without being properly informed
@@ISAGAARBO98Let’s be honest, if someone doesn’t even know who Scorsese is then you know they know nothing about films and you can just ignore their opinion.

This got me hooked for Scorsese's work again. Huge props to you, Archer Green. I hope your channel receives the attention it deserves
I still feel like the Irishman is in its "understated" phase. In enough time it will be an all-time classic.
I just love this man, i literally admire this man. Love you Martin Scorsese sir, you're a inspirational icon for me for Cinema.

The Beethoven of cinema, Hollywood would truly be lost if he were to pass away.

Nice to hear “Film Noir” by Scott Hallgren in the background at 3:36
My cousin Jack Lotz was the referee in Raging Bull. He also has credits on the Sopranos.

No one inspires me more as a film maker than Martin Scorsese.
Fabulous tribute
Great tribute man
Felt as if I was going through a movie masterpiece. Great work here.
He was extremely blessed with such parents.
This makes me sad for some reason. The end with the piano and Marty talking about how young they were when they started and they actually built something Great that the world can watch and re watch and see something different or get a different feeling i love that but it also makes me sad bcuz time flies! Hard to describe but thank you for this the man doesn’t get the credit he deserves in my eyes!

I loved it. Thank you.
Fantastic, bravo 👏
good editing
I always found Scorsese very intense and serious in interviews before he made Goodfellas. After that movie you can see he's much more jovial and at ease with himself.
One of the best to ever do it
I hope one day I can be the next Scorsese and then in 70 years someone could be the next me
