Different generations relate to an entirely different harmonic/frequency. We can tell this from the kind of music in each era and that appeal to different generations. Building relationships intergenerationally can be done socially with a fusion of different musics...

I can't help but notice how strongly this runs against one of the main pillars of Western (especially U.S.) culture: the Cult of Hard Work. Listen to just about any political/economic speech or commentary, and notice how the phrase Hard Work (and its variants, such as Work Hard or Hardworking) is used. Whenever a politician wants to refer to worthy citizens, they almost always refer to "Hardworking Americans," "Hardworking families," etc.. The implication being that if you're not Working Hard, you don't deserve access to health care, the basic needs of living, etc..
Notice that it's never meaningful work, fun work, necessary work, helpful work, beneficial work, or any other sort of work; it's always, always *Hard* Work. The "Hard" here is not referring to a degree of challenge, exertion, or the like. A person can exert a great deal of effort climbing the face of El Capitan bare-handed, but that doesn't qualify as Hard Work. Nor would carving a marble statue, ballet, cooking a feast for a thousand houseless people, or Mr. Brewer's little girls digging ponds and canals while having a blast. That's not the sort of Hard Work our civilization is organized around.
To the contrary, the Hard Work we're all supposed to be doing is the sort of work we would not do at all if we're not being paid, and if our survival were not being held hostage to need for the money. Hard Work doesn't have to be physical labor; it can just be a soul-crushing Bullshit Job that in some way keeps the Capitalist system and its class hierarchies running. What makes the work Hard is precisely that it's something we have to be coerced into doing, a sacrifice of our life and energy, a Calvinist version of a mendicant's self-flagellation.
Another manifestation of the Cult of Hard Work can be seen in our politicians' obsessive focus on "creating Jobs." Throughout the allowed spectrum of political discussion, it does not matter if the holy Jobs are beneficial to the biosphere or even to the people expected to do them. Example: one of the things Kamala Harris and Mike Pence agreed on in perfect lockstep during their debate (and presumably Biden and Trump as well) was that fracking Jobs must be preserved, without regard to what impacts fracking has on the local environment, the people performing the fracking Jobs, or the global climate and environment as a whole.
The purpose of the economic system is to perpetuate endless exponential Growth, and Create more Jobs; the latter being a priority because Hard Work is the sole purpose and value of life, and because a person does not deserve to live if they don't Have a Job (or multiple Jobs). Our glorious economy has created so many Jobs that there's two or three for everyone (plus gig economy side-hustle), and people still can't make ends meet.
And if automation should happen to eliminate Jobs--well, that's a problem for the people on the receiving end to solve on their own; Get a Job, You Lazy Bum! One thing this society cannot countenance is the idea that automation be used to liberate people from Jobs, so that they could be freed to do other things with their lives.

I agree that the ginger beer is a useful tool. Do you folks think marijuana is a useful tool also?
