Waalbrug (DJI Mini 2)

The Waalbrug (Waalbridge) was one of the few bridges that made it possible to cross the Waal river during the Second World War. An important bridge for the allies who were on their way to the city of Arnhem to reinforce with the troops who were fighting against the Germans.
Unfortunately it was not easy for them to cross the Waalbridge. Because German troops had taken over the bridge, and made it impossible for the allies to cross the river and head to Arnhem.
After several days of fighting against the Germans, the allies crossed the river with a few boats, who made it possible to attack the Germans on the North and South side of the bridge. The German troops surrendered, and the allies took over the bridge.
