- 4 Jeeps get dirty at Troxel's Trough at Kansas Rocks. It was a fairly muddy day of wheeling. The black JK Unlimited is on 35" Goodyear Duratracs and the red JK Unlimited is on 35" KM2's. The shots underneath the JK were shot on a GoPro HD 2.
Lets take these nice expensive jeeps out, to climbs hills and hit mud holes, but run the highest PSI possible...
We were all aired down (I was at 13). I wish I had beadlocks to go lower.
There rubicons that's what there for the trails not for pavement
Why else would you buy a Jeep?
He’s just jealous that’s all...
love the kid at :52 just stood in there and took a shower lol
Get nitto mud grapplers and do this course again
guy in blue CJ should have aired down.
he should of backed up another 20 or so feet and Floored it !
2:29 What was the clicking/popping sound, it sounds like a transfer case or u joint/CV joint? Nice vid & I loved watching the mud begging slung, as well as the different techniques each Jeep used.
does the blue cj 5 ever get anywhere without taking 4 tries tell him to lower his tire pressures those things are gonna pop
Im sayin
+Leadfoot2112 I see a blue CJ7 but not a CJ5
They brag alot about those tires. But , I think 🤔 there terrible. Maybe, Air them down ? Where ,we off road in Kentucky hills they wouldn't get ya nowhere and being realistic. Cause, we don't have sand ,we have muddy trails and sinking in mud for miles and very steep hill climbing and the hills are muddy also and its hard to find a good off road tire anymore? THANKS FOR SHARING..GREAT VIDEO
These guys did a really good job through those obstacles haha. Airing down the tires would have made your lives a lot easier! Maybe down to 20-25 or so. Portable air compressor, so nice to have.

That kid is like "Bring on the mud"
പൊളിച്ചു മകളെ
Needs to let air out of the the tires on the cj
oh my
that's so much fun
I got my Sahara on 35 and 4 inches lift
I thought I don't have enough to go mody but that's pretty much what you guys have
nice video thank you
T in urgent need tfttftt TG this is a good to to to to to try and to to try them to try and get too excited to to try and get back to u TG 😁😁😁😁 up to to try and get back to you 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 too to
Thanks!
The Duratracs definitely pulled through the mud. From what I've seen, the nitto mud grappler has been the best mud tire for a JK. I've seen them pull unlocked JKs up muddy hill climbs better than locked KM2's. The duratracs are better suited for loose rock.
Moral of the story... air them shits down! More traction👊🏻
But going to change the motor and every thing else to and the axles
Wow, that's awesome...
That's livin'! Great vid.
Cool video, hate the undercarriage view though.
ur really not supposed to air down in the mud because if u hit a rut it could break the bead. probably why they didnt air down
I used a GoPro Hero 2 mounted with a sticky mount onto the rear crossmember.
Im new to the jeep world and i have a 2004 grand cherokee, can anyone tell me the easiest way to keep the lights off when i take my doors off the car?
you guys/girls don't air down
The JKs were aired down to 13. Not sure about everybody else.
Wondering why none of these jeep drivers deflate some air out of their tires? Would of gave them more traction! I don't even own a jeep but watched enough videos to know better!
So much skinny peddle through all this stuff. I get through the same things letting the jeep crawl with a teralow'd cj and 33's and it just trucks like a tractor. I break a hell of a lot less stuff then my buddies 4runner too.
I know the JKs were aired down to 12psi, not sure about the other guys.
Lockers people fucking lockers!
How did the Duratrac's make out compared to the swampers? I'm looking at getting a set of them.
I wish I had a jeep :(
I did too so I worked hard and bought one...
Both JKUs are running a custom bumper from PMR Offroad
whats with the video of axle ?
this ģuy has no clue
Hey there, curious what's your thoughts on the km2 tires are? Im wanting a fairly aggressive mud tire for my tj, in a 33"x12.5 for a 15" rim. And dunno what to get yet. Thanks
We have a lot of loose gravel on our trails around here. The tires don't seem to bite well on on anything other than mud or dry rocks. As soon as there's moisture or gravel they slip. Quite a few guys used to run them around here (midwest) but said they wished they had something else. The tires seemed to do alright when they went to Moab though. What is the terrain like where you wheel?
nice video. Love muddin!!
The red JKU has a Dynatech muffler.
Thanks man, the terrain where I wheel is mostly very muddy roads, abit of wet sand and rock by the river, other than that it's gravel roads and abit of pavement. What's your opinion on what kind of an m/t tire would work well for me?
Thanks
Have you considered Duratracs? They are a very aggressive all-terrain, which sounds like something down your alley. I have a review of them on my channel. If you're still wanting an aggressive mud tire look at nitto mud grapplers. Those things do wonders in the mud. Heavy though.
how did the duratracs compare the to others with mud tires?
In lines rock
Nice video. I am no expert but I usually air down before I hit the trails and have crawled over bolders bigger than my 35s with no problem.
mayra rivera we were aired down to 12-15.
wish i could wheel a new jeep, but they cost to much haha
Heck ya I need to make a vedio one day Im going to get a jeep that have a 4inch lift and 36 Mudd slingers
What is a vedio?
Fun in the mud
mamasita las morrillas que salieron alli
That orange TJ is beautiful. It is a travesty to see that horrendous Smittybilt stinger on the front of it.
right,the orange Tj is awesome
glad to see the kids out there having some mud fun
Wish they had 3.6s instead of the 3.8
What muffler did that red JKU have?
40.000.00 $ Rubicons on those trails !!! WOW
That's what there made for not for the pavement
What rear bumper does the JKU have?
Hell yeah!!! 'Merica. Awesome video
It is a tough road,watch out,dudes
Great vid,definitely subscribing
theres no way you were running at 12 psi at 12 psi should of looked almost flat. then a set of lockers would help tens times over
I always wheeled my Duratracs at 12psi. I tried lower before but would lose a bead.
+Berserker Offroad
kinda hard to belive, i have bf goodrich ats an run them at 10psi an they look a lot lower. but still looks like a great time for you guys.
That's how high my water was
I can imagine the smell
looks like a blast!!
i am new 2 the 4x4 and jeep world runing those trails were you guys in 4 hi or low and what is the fastest you can go in both high and low
+cal905 Anytime there was crawling we were in 4-lo. When moving around in the main loop we'd be in 4-hi. Welcome to the 4x4 world. What's your first rig?
2015 jeep jku sport tan'k green just got it about 3 months ago so far just a rock rail soft top in shed and front and rear bumpers lift next year any sugjest on the make lift only want 2 go 2 35 it is my dd
4 doors are garbage
How so?
longer wheel base is not good for tight woods. real jeeps have 2 doors
That's your reason that JKU's suck? Tight woods? You need to get your head out of your ass.
So because the JKU has a larger turning radius than a 2 door it's not a Jeep. That's what you said and it's retarded reasoning. That would be like me saying 2 doors aren't real Jeeps because they have a hard time on ledges.
While I prefer the 2 door version and currently have my 4th one if it was not for the 4 door version and its broad market appeal it is quite likely that there would not be a Jeep anymore. The 4 door version in effect allows me to continue to enjoy the 2 door version.
Looks like fun
Looks fun
YEAH BUDDY
The bumper cam is dumb. Just sayin.. otherwise, good video.
Jonathan Odom Thank you for the feedback. What didn't you like about it?
The video is great and then all of a sudden it goes to the suspension just going up and down. I think if it was during a hard flex it would be better and be cool. Thanks for the videos tho. Not many people have good videos like this on UA-cam. They're all Jeeps getting stuck and 10 minutes of getting pulled out.
I think the under body camera was sweet, watching the suspension flex and do it's thing
I love these videos. I work to hard for my money to do this to my jeep
I hear that lol
You rock
И ни кто не стравил давление...
Incredibly dumb hobby.
+Dr. Drake Ramoray Dumb on the pocketbook, yes.
No lockers?...
Not when this was shot. I have a TrueTrac up front now.
Are those straight sixes or 8cyl ?
I think straight 6.
Berserker Offroad jks are v6?
Jordan Newport yep. The JKs in the video have the wimpy 3.8L minivan engine.
Are those tires high on PSI?
Alan Zapanta No we were all aired down.
ok, I am totally interested in mudding and off roading, perhaps time to get my very first jeep.
that was a really good put together video.
Thank you. I've learned a lot since this was made.
Berserker Offroad
Joshua Waymire yes?
Hey boss, is this at Randolph?
Nope, Kansas Rocks Recreation park. Close though!
How far from Randolph? I wouldn't mind trying some new trails.
Keith Archer About 3 hrs 15 minutes. It's a great park, give it a shot.
Did you have the Truetrac in the front axle for this run? I'm really impressed you went everywhere with the Duratrac tires as the other guys with Boggers and TSLs.
Nope, I braved this one completely open. I've been very impressed with the Duratracs as well!
@Padlock6 what kind of camera did you use under the chassis at 6:13 ?
Very cool it was entertaining to watch thanks.
